Hamas official thanks Trump for peace deal but says Blair not welcome
17:18Former British prime minister Tony Blair would not be welcome in any post-war role for Gaza, a senior Hamas official said, while praising Donald Trump in securing a peace deal.
Speaking to Sky News, Dr Basem Naim said a ceasefire would not have been possible without Trump but said the US president must continue to apply pressure to Israel to ensure the agreement is not violated.

He added that Hamas would be willing to step aside for a Palestinian body to govern a post-war Gaza, but that they would remain “on the ground”.

However, he criticised plans for Blair to play any role in the future of Gaza.

We don't forget how PIJ/Saraya Al Quds came to aid of their brothers immediately despite not having prior knowledge of the operation. Hamas took revenge for them as well on that day.

Trump plans summit on Gaza during Egypt visit next week
18:49Donald Trump plans to convene world leaders for a summit on Gaza during his visit to Egypt next week, Axios is reporting, citing four sources with knowledge of the matter.
Among those expected to participate are representatives from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia, according to the report.
