These mediators need to make a stand and flex their muscles to show they won't tolerate massive violations like this. I haven't seen anything from them, yet.
US and Israel didn't bother trying to craft a convincing narrative. They tried saying Hamas was going to launch an attack on civilians of Gaza, which is facetious.
Gaza civilians were perfectly fine until this morning where Israel /US began murdering them in widespread airstrikes.

Summary of what actually happened in Rafah
The incident has no connection to Hamas, nor to any operation or clash of that kind.
A group of settlers who own private companies for demolishing houses have been continuing for a week to demolish what remains of Rafah's houses. Today, two of them were injured, most likely due to an explosive device that their vehicle passed over.
The Israeli media imposed a publication ban on the incident, because, naturally, it wouldn't dare to say that they are still demolishing houses while the truce is in place in front of the world.
Thus, the Israeli army has breached the truce itself, and it was God's will that a self-activating explosive device detonated in the most despicable of the army's tools, the bulldozer crew
