You can oppose Assad, yet support Iran for its fight against Zionists and hate Israel - none of these things are mutually exclusive.
Assad was evil, even though he was supported by Iran. He may have held Israel back, but at the same time he also killed and tortured a lot of people. It's a choice between two evils. I get your point, but just because people hate Assad, doesn't automatically turn them into Zionists.
Anyway - I don't want to veer off topic. You may hate the messenger, and I am not even going to defend him because I don't know enough about him.
But the fact doesn't change that Israel is insecure of Turkey and perceives it as a threat to its regional hegemony. Eventually it will get the US to get into another war on its behalf. Otherwise it cannot implement its greater Israel plan.
