Sure Trump wouldn’t be pushing to get aid in, but if aid were to be allowed in, it would be open the border and let the trucks in from Egypt after US marines inspect it, so some such one day procedure.

Israeli forces are deploying heavily east of the border to Rafah. Preparing for imminent invasion. Palestinain resistance forces have struck a encampment today housing these forces. However, it still seems Israel wants to cause some kind of catastrophe with Egypt and the international community by invading Rafah in a genocidal manner to commit ethnic cleansing.

The vote May 1, 2024 for the “antisemitism bill” is a good proxy to assessing the level of influence. People voting on a law they probably didn’t even read the fine print, because many so claiming they stand for the constitution, don’t realize it violates the first amendment, and just voted on to virtue signal their being on the side of Israel.
320 (74.6%) for, 91 (21.2%) against, and 18 (4.2%) abstentions.
The Pro-Palestinian movement needs to focus on those 21.2% and 4.2%, that is more than a quarter of the country.
Btw the police union for UCLA knows they are facing backlash from the public and are pushing back on the university to take the blame.
Pro-Palestinian groups need to not let the police off the hook. The police need to be sued for their actions.
