I think my post that you quoted was absolutely clear exactly as I worded it:
Both sides will fight will ALL the means at their disposal. There is no requirement for proportionality of response in a war. If a weaker side chooses to fight a more powerful adversary, that is their decision. Those truths hold for any conflict throughout human history. The side that conducts war in all its aspects wins. Plain and simple.

Think it is almost certain now that the ICJ will conclude that this merits the definition of genocide.
ICC will issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Yallant and there will probably be more arrest warrants to come for those who directed assisted in the genocide by supplying weapons and/or diplomatic cover. Sunak, Schroder better start getting worried.
Even if this does not lead to the arrest and incarceration of the Zionist war criminals, but destroys the unity between the US/Europe over "rules based order" and "International law" then it is a plus for Muslims and the "Global South" in general.

Agree Hamas are no angels. However they only exist because there is an illegal occupier creating Havoc - breaking all international law over the last 70 years.
When France was occupied - the French resistance were the ones fighting the Nazis.
Dont also forget - Netanyahu has in the past, encouraged financing and allowing Hamas to flourish as it suited his narrative.

Both sides are committing war crimes according to the UN, and I can agree with you that both sides are responsible for the consequences they must face as a result of their actions.
After all, if you think UN is under pressure to include Hamas, then many others would justify themselves by feeling that UN is under pressure to find Israel guilty. One cannot pick and choose between what UN says in its report. Either one trusts the UN report in its entirety, or not at all. Picking and choosing the parts that one agrees with, but not the parts one disagrees with is simply dishonest.

You are correct in referring to the history of how we got to this point, and one could argue extending it further back into history for much more than just the last 70 years. But I will presume that this thread is about the present conflict and keep myself limited to that aspect of this whole issue.
