With the current doomed negotiations, goals of Israel are very clear, they will destroy Hamas as a military force, control Gaza borders and retain some kind of autonomy to carry out future operations in Gaza so that Hamas or any other entity won’t be able to attack Israel in future. Hamas will not agree to this and thus the war will go well in to 2025. On the other hand Hamas will most likely become a guerrilla terror group capable out carrying out suicide bombings, shooting and rocket attacks in Gaza/Israel.
