The only truly united block is the West; China has issues with multiple neighbors even though racially/civilizationally they are more similar. And even in the West, it is the '5 Eyes', the 'Anglos' who are truly united: UK, America, NZ, Australia and Canada; this point was mentioned by Ray McGovern in a video yesterday when he was talking about the recent leaked plan to attack Iran. Continental Europe, as part of the collective West, is still under the Cold War mode of stagnation and often stupidly follows the American policies.

I don't think there is much unity to the point of being ONE VOICE in Africa, Latin America, East Asia either.

The Islamic world--especially its Arabic speaking population in the Arabian Peninsula--is the only multi-country counterpart to the West; they are 'One Family' as Ghadi Francis recently said in a video I posted a few days ago. But on the street level, there does exist a strong Muslim Ummah concept from Indonesia to Morocco.

So, yes, China, India, Japan, S Korea etc are doing well but they are nowhere a block like the West, especially the Anglos are.

More pertinent to this thread: Israel is a semi-part of the West and Israelis carefully highlight that: Fluent English, lighter skins, gay parades etc etc.

The key theme that gives unity in the West and China, is a strong uniting force called central government.

Hindus have it too (India).

Islamic World lacks it.

Without a strong uniting and protective government, small petty islamic nations fall prey to outside forces who use divide and control. Sometimes outright mass murder and genocide.

The West also have division but are kept in line by a strong superpower: USA.

I was going by the concept of eight civilizations as mentioned by Samuel Huntington.

1. Western
2. Confucian (China etc.)
3. Japanese
4. Islamic
5. Hindu
6. Slavic-Orthodox (Russia etc.)
7. Latin American
8. African civilization

Irrespective of how united they are, all are progressing except Islam. No one is attacking them, destroying whole countries, killing millions, and preventing development.

The West is united under US leadership and in a state of total assault on Islam.

I think Huntingtons thesis of Japan as a separate civilization is wrong: Japan as state was born out of the fountain of Chinese civilization.

There is no single African civilization either. Neither Latin American which was largely exterminated by Spanish-Portuguese conquest and consequent colonization.

Huntington really just used Spengler and Toynbee, who had similar dividing of civilizations, but Huntington further made his own division to fit in with the American military doctrine for continue US goobal supremacy. Ironically, Huntington through his thesis, became the main culprit of US decline.

Your argument is that Pakistan is too poor to do anything. The question is, why is Pakistan bankrupt? Hasn’t the colonial British Indian Army been running the country for almost all its history? Either they impose martial law or they impose their preferred criminal politicians. They bankrupted the country and prevented development and now the argument is that Pakistan is too poor. Many reasons for Pakistan's economic issues, starting from an unwinnable rivalry with India since 1947 over Kashmir. Pakistan had help here and there from America and now from China but Pakistan never had a real sugar daddy. That Pakistan is in this state has lot to do with Pakistan being a Security State along with the internal / feudal society. The Army ensured Pakistan's existence as the Army ended up enriching itself especially starting with the Soviet-Afghan war. But the Army is not some alien army: It is formed from Pakistanis from all over the country.

I don't think I need to argue with the followers of Imran Khan: I know they are blind, especially if they are expats. My message is to the foreigners here who unfortunately fall for the LOUD NOISES Imran's followers make in the social media. They are wrong: Pakistan is not a Puppet state. If it was, it would not have bled America in Afghanistan for 20 years. Puppets are Jordan, Germany and South Korea.

Sadly, you are right.
Trump is very happy to support Jill Stein candidacy; NY Times ran a front page story in last 1-2 days that the Republicans lawyers have actually helped to put Stein on the ballot in some Swing States.
AIPAC acts as a block and influences both parties. The Pro Palestinian should vote as a block and support the Democrats on a conditional offer for 2024 only in Swing States. But they would rather see Trump in the White House. Incredible lack of political understanding! Circumstances have enabled the Pro Palestinian voters to act larger than their size in the upcoming elections but they don't avail it!!

Even those anti-deep state analysts who had been relatively pro Trump because of Trump's Ukraine war stand are either quiet about Trump's Middle East (extremely pro Israel policies) or admit that Trump would be worse for the Middle East. Just yesterday I saw Ray McGovern saying 'Trump is likely to be worse than Biden if that's even possible'.

And all the people in Michigan who desperately like the war in Gaza to end will be weeping even more bitterly if Michigan supplies the EC votes to elect Trump by a small margin (like 20,000 - 50,000 votes).
