Times of Israel. David Horovitz is a very respectable Israeli analyst. Verily, this is the unraveling of the Netanyahu regime if not the unraveling of the Apartheid regime itself. The world is watching it all and no one likes losers like these--you know, some like to kick when you are down!
PS. @Solomon2 : I think you are too depressed to comment on this??

⚡️BREAKING: On the night of the U.S. Election, Israel Reveals Its plan for Northern Gaza.

For the first time, the Israeli army allowed military correspondents into Jabalia, northern Gaza, to report on the situation. Doron Kadosh, citing military sources, noted that northern Gaza has been split into two areas. Despite denials from the Israeli army about a “Generals’ Plan” to forcibly displace residents, actions on the ground—such as forced expulsions, restricted aid, and starvation—suggest otherwise which shows their plan to ethnically cleanse the North.

Reports indicate that the military is waiting for a political directive to evacuate remaining areas, including Gaza City. A newly released map highlights this division.

Amichai Stein shared an army statement revealing that the clearance of civilians and militants in northern Gaza is nearly complete. The army confirmed residents will not be allowed to return, and no more aid will enter the area, leaving people with the choice to leave or suffer severe consequences. These actions point to a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing.

Yup. This maniac Netanyahu is reshuffling his administration so drastically by taking advantage of the paralysis in the US govt coming because of the elections.

Yes, but those with sense in Israel, like David Horovitz, know how reckless Netanyahu's action was by sacking Gallant and it would be almost suicidal if he also sacks the military Chief and the Shin Beth Chief. I really, really hope Netanyahu sacks them!! That way, Netanyahu's own fall is assured--I have little doubt about that if all three are sacked then there may even be a coup.

Rubbish . These mothetfucking trash of the earth were murdered by the brave sons of the soil

If I were to make a wild guess, I think the primary reason Gallant was fired was because he wanted a hostage deal which would allow some period of peace/ceasefire in Gaza. Israeli commentators and their American vassals had started to parrot the line that the Gazan resistance can never do another October 7, 2023 attack and so let's withdraw, regroup, and go into Gaza some time later. BUT that would mean Hamas 'victory parades' in Gaza along with Hezbollah 'victory parades' and elsewhere in the Islamic world--and even in the Western world. That would ensure Israel looking 'defeated' and would ensure Netanyahu not only out of power but also possibly in prison. Gallant and the IDF topbrass, on the other hand, have no such political and personal considerations and know the reality of the over-stretched and tired IDF.

In this article, Gallant is alluding to the 'painful' concessions again. But whatever the reasons behind Gallant firing, it is an absolute blow to the Israeli image both locally and internationally--perhaps even a mortal blow.

...

"he second was a hostage deal, which Gallant said was "possible" albeit with "some painful compromises," but that the IDF would be able to cope with. Gallant added that abandoning the hostages would be a "mark of Cain" on Israeli society and that the remaining living hostages must be returned."

As I say, I put more faith in thousands of users' comments than in a few dozen journalists. Here is a (right wing) Israeli connecting Gallant firing with the US elections. Remember that: Israel is NOTHING without America and so they closely control and follow the American political events.

Gallant is a traitor to Israel and all Jews. He worked for the Jew-killing Democrat party at every turn and worked to destabilize Israel and hold it back. Bibi did this, because he knows Trump should hopefully win and he won’t have to deal with the threats of the Democrat party for firing their agent, Gallant. Gallant is a traitor and belongs in a prison cell.
