The continuous resistance, in the face of genocide, reminded me of this clip. People don’t respect those that don’t resist.

That Israeli minister said that Arabs will be telling their grandkids of what the Israelis did to them wasn’t wrong, but she thinks it is to the benefit of Israel and not deleterious to their survival. Remember how the world has been reminded, continuously, since the 1940s what the Nazis did.

In contrast, the way the Palestinians resisted, regardless of how the conflict started, because of the brutality of the decades of occupation, and specifically this chapter, will only grant them more sympathy for their plight, and eventual freedom. It was not just the holocaust, but the pogroms against Jewish people that granted them sympathy from the collective west. Equally, this chapter will be a watershed moment.

hard to deny at this point. the circumstances they fight in are probably unprecedented in human history. and they still inflict significant casualties on the Nazi IDF in the very north of Gaza, in Beit Hanoun. very impressive.
