If you saw the video I posted yesterday where Larry C. Johnson is admitting that we was wrong about Trump, then you'd also see in that video that Larry is certain--as am I, btw!!--that if Netanyahu really manages to make America attack Iran then it will be the undoing of the Trump administration. Iran has been poking its fingers into Israel and America's eyes since 1979 without invoking a full war for some very good reasons!! Iran has retrenched from the ongoing Gaza conflict but Yemen is there as the alternate potent proxy. But Iran is still an extremely lethal force. And I can almost guarantee that an attack on Iran would inevitably bring China much more forcefully then it had been in the last 15 months. China is genuinely and historically pro Palestinians--those were the ethos of the communism-- but there was no reason for China to get too involved in a little conflict in Gaza. Iran is a different ballgame because it too much effects China.

I want China and Russia to have Iran’s back if Trump starts a war. Someone has to put an end to the insanity.

But I think Trump is just making noise. I don’t think he is dumb enough to start a war with Iran. I think that he thinks bombing the Houthis is a display of might and will give him bargaining power but he should know that attacking Iran for Israel is the end of his administration and most Maga will even turn on him for that. People are becoming increasingly aware and resentful of the AIPAC control of the govt.

This may be the saving moment for Gaza let them go to a showdown and explode on one another. There are times I think if Hamas hadn’t initiated October 7 we might have seen the Israelis killing each other on the streets of Tel Aviv during the initial protests and counter protests during the judicial reform

I think Saleh Al Arouri misread the situation, may Allah have mercy on his soul and all Palestinian souls. He thought because of war of Ukraine it would be good timing. And he thought AoR would go in with full force. Despite big gaps in coordination and other reasons. But, the war in Ukraine made it more likely US admin would react harshly to what they may have seen as attempt to trigger a regional war and they tried making a example out of the civilian population of Gaza. It's pure cruelty.

But ultimately Muslim and Arab world aren't utilizing their leverage/tools and this exposed their very vulnerable situations. Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and the greater region are in a vulnerable state and colonial mindset will simply bully them after seeing they didn't come out against the Israeli colonial machine. It will get worse before it gets better.
