They most certainly didn't attack Hamas. They attacked general infrastructure all over southern Gaza, including homes with solar panels, and have bombed UNRWA shelters to spread terror.

The goal isn't about 'pressuring Hamas' to release hostages. That was already going to happen had Israel honored the ceasefire agreement.

Hamas needs to find a way to get rid of the military captives fast. So Israel will be forced to explain the real reason it's committing these acts of genocide.
