Al-JewLani the bastard of Anatolians claims that Syria and Israel have a common enemy.

When i said that terrorists have nothing to do with resistance groups in Palestine, they accused me of sepearting Ikhwan to good and bad sections.

Now this NATO supported terrorist wants to jump into Zionists' arms with his backside.

'Syria and Israel share common enemies': Sharaa

Damascus and Tel Aviv have reportedly been engaged in 'face-to-face' talks over recent weeks

Syria's self-appointed interim President Ahmad al-Sharaa declared during an interview with the Jewish Journal that Israel and Syria share “common enemies” and said he is ready to engage with Tel Aviv if there is “a clear path to coexistence.”

“The era of endless tit-for-tat bombings must end. No nation prospers when its skies are filled with fear. The reality is, we have common enemies — and we can play a major role in regional security,” Sharaa, formerly known as Al-Qaeda leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani, told the Los Angeles-based publication.

“Peace must be earned through mutual respect, not fear. We will engage where there is honesty and a clear path to coexistence — and walk away from anything less," he added.

Sharaa also voiced support for reviving the principles of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement (Dofa Accord), calling it a possible framework for “mutual restraint and protection of civilians.”

The statements from the de facto president come amid reports in western media saying Israeli and Syrian officials have been engaged in face-to-face talks over recent weeks aimed at “preventing another flareup along their shared border.”

After extremist armed groups led by Sharaa took over Syria in December, Israel promptly destroyed the country's military capabilities and occupied large areas of Syrian territory in the Golan Heights, Quneitra, and Deraa.

“There are indirect talks with Israel through mediators to calm and attempt to absorb the situation so that it does not reach a level that both sides lose control over,” Sharaa said earlier this month, also describing Israel's continued airstrikes of Syrian land as “random interventions."

He also said Damascus was talking to states that communicate with Israel to “pressure them to stop intervening in Syrian affairs and bomb some of its infrastructure.”

University of Melbourne expels two students, suspends two more after pro-Palestine protests

On Monday 26th May, UniMelb Vice-Chancellor Emma Johnston issued two students with expulsion, and another two with indefinite suspension.

On Monday 26th May, the University of Melbourne (UniMelb) Vice-Chancellor Emma Johnston issued two students with expulsion, and another two with indefinite suspension. They were suspended for protesting against UniMelb’s affiliation with Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Johnston’s decision came after approximately 20 students had occupied the office of Jewish Physics Professor Stephen Prawer on 9th October 2024.

Prawer is affiliated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which has been an official Boycott, Divest, Sanction (BDS) target since 2004.

The National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) commented that “Professor Johnston’s new tenure as VC is now distinguished by her decision to oversee the largest and most severe disciplining of students in Australia in response to peaceful protest against the ongoing genocide in Palestine.”

The four students involved have been given 20 days to lodge an appeal against UniMelb’s decision.

The UniMelb for Palestine organisation said that “If these decisions are upheld, this will set a dangerous precedent for student activism going forward.”

UniMelb for Palestine began a campaign on 2nd June to protest against the outcome.

If the students are expelled, they will be the first students in Australia to face expulsion for protesting against the genocide in Palestine and university affiliations with Israel.

Liz Strazkosh, acting NTEU UniMelb Vice President, said “We reject the use of the language of staff safety and antiracism to justify the punishment of students who are speaking up against Israel’s mass killing and starvation in Gaza.

“Leadership in student and staff repression is not the leadership we are looking for in the current moment.”

Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi commented, “Universities like the University of Melbourne should cease the disciplinary witch hunts on brave student activists and issue a public apology for the McCarthyist crackdown on staff and students speaking out for a free Palestine”.

Gaza situation is terrible. There needs to be a intervention. Khan Younis is being destroyed block by block. People are all being concentrated into a corner.
No one is doing anything to stop it.

Absolutely horrific. This is a scary situation and I predict the world will eventually lose patience with Israel.
