Hamas did not say this. Hamas is not in a position of power right now. And the Israeli genocide is targeting the whole population of Gaza. It's important for all players to intervene. As Israel is planning a full blown genocide for Rafah to expel Palestinians into Egypt.
In 2014, Israel did not need any such firepower when it invaded Rafah. Any actual military operation in the small city of Rafah would cause 300-500 Palestinian casualties as a high estimate. Anyone suggesting major precautions need to be taken and a whole transfer of population, is seeking to commit genocide and supports the Israeli version of events. It's not needed and never was needed for a actual military operation. A mass murder and ethnic cleansing campaign is not a military one.

Prisoners exchange is not a central point for ceasefire. It's having aid into Gaza and a actual cessation of attacks. So far, all parties refuse to discuss this. Which suggests a conspiracy against Hamas even at the expense of all Palestinian residents of Gaza. So what is it that these parties hate in Hamas? Their truthfulness, determination, and ethical approach to regional conflicts. Not taking sides in civil wars and encouraging a actual fight against Israel that goes beyond limited action or even no action at all.

The attack on Rafah wouldn't be making so much news if it wasn't an actual mass murder and ethnic cleansing campaign. It's making news because it's Israel's go at a final, Nazi-like solution against the Palestinian people. Far beyond a military operation. So far, nothing has been done on the ground to stop it by any party. And it will move forward.

it seems like Egypt is building sand banks on the Egyptian side of the border and men and materials have been seen moving North
this includes tanks of the Egyptian Army which is in disagreement with the Camp David accords
this means two things
1- Egyptian have had enough and going to take on Israel
2- Egyptians will kill any Palestinian trying to jump over the fence who avoid being mascaraed by the IDF
if Egyptian military kills Palestinians could this trigger a revolution in Egypt?

With or without the hostages the Palestinians will be genocided, so the Israelis need to give the Palestinians a good reason why the Palestinians shouldn't just kill the hostages?
