Hezbollah stepping up the attacks could help pressure Israel into agreeing to a ceasefire in Gaza. If it feels safe to continue the course, it likely will.

🔴 Israel is experiencing the most difficult stage in its history 🔴🔴
Israel is in a situation it has never known in its history... a warning from its most famous journalist

Ronen Bregman is one of the most famous Israeli journalists on the international level. He not only writes for Yedioth, but also publishes in major newspapers and magazines in America and Europe.

He attended the Munich Security Conference, and from there came away with an interesting impression regarding the state of his entity.

He sent a message to the Israeli government and people: “You should have come here, to the most important forum in the world on security and foreign policy issues, to see firsthand how bad our international position is.”
He says:
“Everyone I have had the opportunity to speak with agrees that from every angle, from every panel on the stage and in the smaller forums, the hallway conversations and the leaders’ meetings... in everything a very disturbing picture emerges. Israel is in the midst of a worsening and accelerating process towards the end of a pariah state.” besieged and persecuted."

He adds:
“I have been coming to the Munich Security Conference since 2009. It is the most important forum in the world for national security issues, military issues and foreign policy (..) and I have never seen, despite crises and wars, such an attitude towards Israel.”

He also says:

About a week ago, a senior official in Israel sent me a tweet posted by Karim Khan, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, saying: “To all concerned: My office vigorously investigates any alleged war crime. And those who violated the law will be held accountable." This is not just a tweet, seniors said. It is a major warning to Israel before opening a strong investigation and perhaps before filing charges. There is a complete political collapse that is beginning to appear on the legal scene... US and British sanctions orders, references to the announcement of forced recognition of the Palestinian state Ruling in the Netherlands bans arms sales to Israel, halts arms sales from Italy, downgrades credit rating, and now notifies the Attorney General.”
