Palestinian Resistance operation in occupied West Bank injures 4 Zionist settlers

At least 4 settler terrorists injured in suspected car-ramming attack near illegal Jewish settlement of "Otniel" in the occupied West Bank

We can easily multiply that number with a couple of times.
So far Israel admitted 168 soldiers killed and 936 soldiers injured in Gaza. The real numbers are indeed likely to be significantly higher.

New US Oil Field Developments Are A Sign Of Things To Come For Saudi Arabia

Snippet:

Third, Kissinger concluded that the best course of action for the U.S. to keep obtaining all the oil and gas it needed to retain its top global economic and political position was to ensure that the Middle Eastern countries did not band together again in the future against the U.S. The optimal way for the U.S. to ensure this, he successfully argued, was to use the ‘divide and rule’ principle between the region’s major oil and gas producers, which in turn was a variant of the ‘triangular diplomacy’ he had advocated and used to great effect in the U.S.’s dealings with Russia and China at that time. In short, this involved playing one side off against the other by leveraging whatever fault lines ran through the target countries at any given time, be they economic, political, or religious, or any combination thereof.

There are multiple major examples of this policy at work analysed in my new book, but two of the most significant were leveraging the religious schism between Shia and Sunni Islam (as exemplified respectively by Iran and Saudi Arabia), and the undermining of resurgent ideas of pan-Arabism.

Telegraph publishes pro-war op-ed by John Bolton: The West has no option but to attack Iran

Tehran will only accept it has miscalculated if it faces significant costs for its recent acts of aggression

Houthi attacks on commercial shipping and US Navy vessels in the Red Sea threaten the global economy, endangering the vital Suez Canal trade route. As if 14 such attacks in the past month, and against Israel directly, were not enough, Iran has now joined the fray. The Pentagon said on December 23 that an Iranian-launched drone struck an Israeli-affiliated merchant ship in the Indian Ocean.

This marks the first time since October 7 that Washington has directly blamed Iran, even with over 100 attacks on US personnel in Iraq and Syria by Iran-dependent Shia militia, on which the White House has fudged in assigning responsibility. Tehran denied the Indian Ocean attack, repeating its mantra that Hamas operates independently in warring against Israel. Nevertheless, India deployed guided-missile destroyers to the region, and seeks more evidence on the vector of the attack.

Just after Christmas, however, Iran committed the classic “Washington gaffe” – i.e., telling the truth accidentally – when the Revolutionary Guard Corps reportedly described Hamas’s barbaric assault as “one of the acts of revenge for the assassination of General [Qassem] Soleimani by the US and the Zionists”. Hamas immediately denied the linkage, no more credibly than the Revolutionary Guard Corps’ subsequent effort to walk back its revealing “revenge” declaration.

The critical truth here is that Iran has directly committed an act of war against what it believed was an Israeli target. While hardly comparable to Hamas’s barbarity, Hizbollah and Houthi attacks, or Iran’s own massive arms and intelligence support, Tehran has now crossed the line of armed hostilities. The West’s operating assumption should be to expect more of the same. Iran has, for example, recently threatened shutting down commercial shipping across the Mediterranean. It is Iranian belligerence driving potential escalation, not Western self-defence.

As I said, the problem is the desire for US dollars - this means they have to go through a bank connected to the US financial system at one point, and that's the point the US sanctions will target (e.g. clearing houses in Turkey or Oman or UAE, which definitely do not want to lose access to the US financial system).

There are huge financial consequences for even rich GCC countries if they cross the Americans. Needless to say, overpopulated, resource-starved poor countries like Pakistan have no chance against America/American allies sanctions. Pakistan's situation is made even worse because it has a much larger, much more robust economy/military neighbor ready to pounce given any weakness. The Indian member above mocking Pakistan to go and attack Israel is not only mocking but is also hoping that Pakistan would do such a thing.
At this point, until some alternate financial system comes up, America/allies economic tools are even more potent weapons than the aircraft carriers.

All of these calls to attack Iran this week are all triggered by one fact: Iran and Russia signed an agreement to bypass the US Dollar and trade based on their currencies - the Ruble and the Riyal.

The claims of supporting Hamas, Ansarullah in Yemen, Hezbollah, or Iraqi groups are all smokescreen. You challenge the dollar dominance in oil, gas, and other forms of trade, you will face the wrath of the empire.

They can't bully Russia because the West is already losing the war in Ukraine and Russia is also nuclear-armed, so they want to push Iran around until it abandons its agreement with Russia.

Does anyone know if the situation is escalating or is it the same news of Israel genociding as usual?

I was at the petrol station today and the newspaper at the counter had a headline that said citizens urge to leave Lebanon so this prompted me to ask this question.

What controversial weapons has Israel used in Gaza offensive?

An Israeli official has acknowledged that the country’s military used inappropriate munitions during an attack on the Maghazi refugee camp that killed at least 90 people earlier this week, Al Jazeera reports.
The official said that Israel’s military would investigate what happened.

While little is known about the specific munitions used in Maghazi, this is far from the first time that Israel’s army has faced criticism over the alleged or confirmed use of controversial weapons in its military campaign in Gaza.

Al Jazeera looks at some of the weapons that have been used in Israel’s “indiscriminate” bombardment of the Gaza Strip such as dumb bombs, bunker buster bombs and more.

Palestinian paramedics 'humiliated and beaten by Israeli forces'

Palestinian paramedics were "humiliated and beaten" after being detained by Israeli forces, a medic has claimed.

Mohammed Salah, a paramedic at the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), has described the moment the Jabalia ambulance centre in northern Gaza was invaded a week ago.

"We were all humiliated, we were all beaten in sensitive areas and on our heads and backs," he says.
"Israeli occupation forces entered with their army tanks and bulldozed the ambulances and the building's entrance. The ambulance vehicles are all completely destroyed."

Mr Salah says he was then called outside and asked to strip naked.

"I was taken by the Israeli Occupation Forces and I was interrogated on the number of people present in the building," he says.

"After I spoke to the soldier we evacuated the children, women, and the wounded. Afterwards, I called on the guys one by one and they were taken - their IDs were inspected and they were tied up.

"They put us in a house with scattered glass - they made us all sit in an unsafe place. They took us to a van and made us sit in it for around six hours with our hands tied behind us."

The group, he says, was sworn at, and one colleague was assaulted and will now likely need a skin transplant after suffering burns to his legs.

Spot on, any decrease of usd circulation as world currency is death threat to usa and they act accordingly.

After turning Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine into a parking lot these American warmongers still have more appetite for additional wars.

Editors..

After October 7, the Zionist ZAKA organization created a set of lies, including roasting children in ovens, cutting off their heads, or raping women, and passing those lies to public opinion, politicians, and leaders of countries, all of this to prepare Israeli and international public opinion to accept Israel’s brutality and barbarism in the Gaza war, and it chose The editorial team chose this event to be the cover topic for this issue.

"30,000 Israeli soldiers attack the Khan Yunis city in the Gaza Strip after the army decided to send a seventh brigade into the battle."

The Zionists are desperate. They're throwing everything at Gaza.
