I'm pretty sure Hamas terrorists are gonna stir up another attack during Ramadan forcing Israel into a new air campaign. Israel must be cautious and not give in even an inch.

Muslim-majority countries did not do enough to stop Israeli forces from killing Palestinian civilians in Gaza, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said. He made his comment as the war between Israel and Hamas entered its sixth month.
“We have all witnessed together how the Universal Declaration of Human Rights became just a piece of paper when it comes to the right to live for Palestinian children, women and innocent civilians,” the Turkish leader said at an event in Istanbul on Saturday.
Erdogan went on to argue that the war in the Middle East “has shown us that the Islamic world still has very significant shortcomings, especially in terms of acting in unity” when attempting to pressure Israel to end its operation in Gaza.

The president said that, despite the “hard work and many efforts in the diplomatic field,” the Muslim-majority countries ultimately “could not prevent the deaths of innocent children of Gaza from hunger, bullets and bombs.”

Ankara has delivered some 40,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza by air and sea, Erdogan said.
The remarks came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue the offensive on Rafah, a major city near Gaza’s border with Egypt. The city and its surroundings became crowded with refugees after the Israel Defense Forces instructed Palestinians to flee the northern part of the enclave. Netanyahu has rejected international calls for a ceasefire, arguing that the IDF must clear out “the last Hamas stronghold” in Rafah.
Israel declared war on Hamas after the militant group unexpectedly attacked southern Israeli cities on October 7, killing some 1,200 people and taking more than 200 hostages. More than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the fighting began last year, according to local authorities.

Erdogan talking about Islamic unity is one of the most saddening jokes of these days.

And stop equating Hamas with innocent Palestinians because they are two completely different things. Hamas is a terrorist organization and has nothing in common with Palestinians!

I have been saying from the beginning that I hope Israel obliterates Hamas and then Hezbollah, and that negotiations for two states finally begin.

Again, 80% of the world's countries do not state Hamas are terrorists.

I was very upset with him all day! I merely mentioned that I wouldn't vote for Trump due to his Middle East policy and he erupted like that! As for this quoted part, yes, it is amazing how the so-called Christians, instead of turning 'the other cheek', drop another bomb!
Anyway, he later offered sort of an apology. I have decided not to engage with him over foreign affairs. I bet he also supports the Russia-Ukraine war. Some 'Christian' they are!!

His apology [he referred to some Arab-Muslim Americans against Biden first]:

"I apologize. I've never had a conversation with one that was blaming Biden for supporting Israel right to exist. From the above Pro Muslim outlets this single issue will cost Biden his razor thin votes in the mid north areas that are predominantly Muslim. So I certainly support u & there anger toward Biden's & the Ds. The rest of the country top 2 issues is Biden open borders & Bidenflation. Thank you for helping me understand the depth of the emotion & disdain that Biden would support our Allie Israel over the Palestinian Hamas group. "

I was out to the big city last night and I met three WASPs in mid-20s: Two guys and a lady. I am a fairly rarity as a brown in a sea of whites and occasional African Americans so people get curious, especially late night after they loosen up some. We initiated a chat. They were very concerned about their own future/jobs. I said my own career is nearing its end so I don't worry too much for myself but for their career, they should worry because the ruling class, which is sitting in Washington, doesn't care for them one bit. Then we talked about the Russia-Ukraine war and the Israel-Palestinian conflict and they surprised me by condemning the White House policies over both wars.

I told them that they are my fellow Americans and they should not come back to America in some 'body bags'. They asked what's 'body bag'? I said killed in yet another war of the Neo Cons. I said those three black soldiers killed in Iraq recently were a bait. They said yes, if those killed were white, they would be much mourned and talked about.

I also mentioned to them that the Democrats and the Republicans don't ever agree upon anything but ponder that when it comes to killing people in foreign lands they all agree on those wars!

Never engage in a political conversations with extreme fanatics like Christian Evangelicals.

The ironic thing is that they want the return of the "Messiah" who in turn will either slaughter the Jews or force conversion on the pain of death according to their beliefs.

Secular Zionists are well aware and that is ok as they get to use the Evangelicals to rinse America's diplomatic, military and financial strength.
 
Democracy allows for political camp, which in turn allows political lobbying. If there's one reason why the West is so adamant why the world must adopt democracy is this very reason.

Some harsh words but true.
I had never supported the insurrection against Bashar Assad because I clearly saw that that was going to primarily benefit the Israelis and that is now well proven. Also, the govt of Pakistan, despite close ties with Riyadh, Ankara and Washington always, even on low key, maintained that the Mr. Assad's govt represented the legal govt of Syria.
And after so many deaths and destruction, Mr. Assad's govt is now recognized by Saudi Arabia/Arab countries and maybe soon even by Erdogan. Tells you how stupid the Arab countries were.
