Iran revealed a new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) called “Gaza,” claiming that it can carry up to 13 bombs and is equipped with a turbojet engine that can reportedly propel it to distances exceeding thousands of kilometers, putting Israel within range of the new technology.

The new UAV is an upgraded version of the Shahed 129 model, which was first introduced in September 2012. It resembles the Israeli Hermes 450 UAV but is larger.
Iranian sources estimate that the UAV can carry more than eight bombs and is designed to target both mobile and stationary targets. Capable of carrying "Sadid-1" missiles, Iran’s new instrument of war becomes their second UAV capable of such missile capacity, after the "Karar.”

Iran marketing its military arsenal

Since the lifting of UN restrictions on Iran's missile and UAV exports in October, Tehran has been increasingly marketing its military arsenal internationally, raising concerns among the US and its allies. Tehran has been supplying weapons to its allies in the Middle East for years to support their activities.

Iranian weaponry also played a role in the indirect confrontation between Iran and the US, including the killing of three American service members in a January UAV attack in Jordan by an Iraqi militia supported by Tehran.
Recent Iranian defense deals include an agreement to sell short-range ballistic missiles to Moscow, according to American sources, and the transfer of suicide UAVs to the Sudanese government.

"The quality is mediocre, but it's half the price," said a senior Sudanese official when comparing the new Iranian UAV to its competitors.
"I'm very impressed with their medium-range missile technologies," said a senior Qatari air force officer.
Iran's new UAV represents an effort to surpass the US-made MQ-9 Reaper, which in 2020 was used to eliminate Qasem Soleimani.

Says the country that sends weapons to the occupiers of Palestine.

Your words say one thing but actions say another.

It is a bit like supplying a knife to a thug and then sending a little money to the victim to pay for treatment of their injury from the thug.

No mention of this, where did you get the Pakistani side from? The last time the Saudi's asked for direct military assistance from Pakistan was in 2016.

Very interesting debate! Galloway was in a mostly pro Israel crowd but did well.
Related to this debate: I have held this notion for a long time that the Britain is one of most tolerant nations in the world and that personal notion is not something new. Britain gave asylums to the likes of even Karl Marx who was a very threat to the Capitalist world order in 19th century, along with historically giving asylums to hostile political figures from other countries. Britain's response during the Covid pandemic/lockdowns seemed mild to me compared with the continental Europeans.

America too has a great tradition of freedom of speech and freedom of association--except when it comes to Israel, but even that's slowly changing now.

    • On 20 March, at about 13:35, three Palestinians were reportedly killed, and 10 others were injured, when a group of people at Hamouda junction in eastern Jabalya Refugee Camp were hit. Unconfirmed reports indicate that this group comprised police officers involved in securing the delivery of aid.

As of 22 March, 250 soldiers have been killed and 1,489 soldiers injured in Gaza since the beginning of the ground operation, according to the Israeli military. In addition, over 1,200 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed in Israel, the vast majority on 7 October. As of 22 March, the Israeli authorities estimate that 134 Israelis and foreign nationals remain captive in Gaza, including fatalities whose bodies are withheld.
  • The Israeli military operation inside and around Al Shifa hospital in Gaza city has continued for the fifth consecutive day amid intensive exchanges of fire with Palestinian armed groups.
Mapping: Damage
UNOSAT satellite imagery analysis showed that approximately one third (or 35 per cent) of the total structures in the Gaza Strip have been either damaged or destroyed.

Food Insecurity: Famine.
On 18 March, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) partnership released its latest food security outlook. It concluded that up to 1.1 million people in Gaza are facing catastrophic levels of food insecurity. The report highlights the fast-deteriorating food security conditions, including a nearly 80 per cent increase in the number of people facing the highest classification of food insecurity since December, when the initial assessment was conducted.

Following the announcement that famine is imminent there has been no significant change in the volume of supplies entering Gaza or improved access to the north. The first 20 days of March saw an average of 159 aid trucks per day crossing into the Gaza Strip. This remains well below the operational capacity of both border crossings and the target of 500 per day, with challenges at both Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) and Rafah. Security to manage the crossings has been severely impacted due to the killing of several Palestinian policemen in Israeli airstrikes near the crossings in early February.

Internal Displacement
As of 20 March, up to 1.7 million* people (over 75 per cent of the population) ** have been displaced across the Gaza Strip, the majority multiple times.*** Families are forced to move repeatedly in search of safety. Following intense Israeli bombardments and fighting in Khan Younis and the Middle Area in recent weeks, a significant number of displaced people have moved further south.

Water Contamination by Israeli Settlers:
A new report from the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has laid bare the devastating environmental and economic consequences of the unlawful discharge of untreated wastewater from Israeli settlements into Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank.

In both sites researched for the report, wastewater, including human sewage and animal waste, flowing from illegal Israeli settlements for long distances has damaged crops and knocked agricultural Palestinian lands out of use.[2]

Funding shortfall: exceeds $238 Million

War Crimes: Israeli Army accused of using Palestinian civilians as human shields
Palestinian Territory - The Israeli military continues to use Palestinian civilians as human shields in its military operation inside the al-Shifa Medical Complex and its vicinity in Gaza City.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has documented several consistent testimonies regarding the Israeli army’s deliberate use of Palestinian civilians as human shields against their will, and forcing them into dangerous situations to secure and protect its forces and military operations inside the Shifa Medical Complex in. This has been ongoing since early Monday morning.

Testimonies reveal that Israeli forces used civilians, including patients and displaced individuals inside the Shifa Medical Complex, as human shields, exploiting them to protect their military operations within the hospital, form barriers behind their forces and military vehicles, or send them under threat to residential homes and buildings surrounding the medical complex to evacuate them before the Israeli army raids, arrests some of the residents, and subsequently destroys many of these buildings.[3]
