hezbollah changed from a defensive only force to defensive-or-offensive-whichever-is-needed military force after it entered the Syrian war- Hezbollah went on the offensive against Salafist and NATO-proxy groups multiple times in its battles in SYria (was battle for Qalamoun a "defensive battle"?), and no, Hezbollah isn't made up of "30K" solders like @Ali_Baba said- its obviously 50-100K soldiers today, it expanded from or during the Syrian war."they are a defensive gueriella force...." is exactly correct. people need to avoid exaggerating the strength of Hezbollah and what it can achieve given its circumstances.
Just wanted to say that the Hezbollah of today is ready for defensive or offensive actions, and it has prepared for offensive actions against Israel, but i'm unsure which conditions will trigger offensive actions by Hezbollah against Israel.
