Would you agree that what you described above is a war by proxy nonetheless? What Iran is trying to do here by trying to draw in USA will eventually have consequences that both will have to deal with, rest assured.
No. By your braindead logic, every single war in history is a proxy war.

Where did I say that Sir?
iranian support for Palestinians = proxy war involving Iran

--> your threshold for transforming a war into a proxy war = any material support by another nation

this is true of every single modern conflict, so according to this 'logic', every war is a proxy war.

interestingly you only apply that logic to Palestinians who are hapless tools of Iranians, and not to Israelis who receive significantly more funding and weapons from the USA than the Palestinians do from Iran. Others can make their own mind up about what that says about your agenda.

50 British Law Makers have asked the called on UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron to restore funding to the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA immediately, citing “severe implications” for besieged Palestinians.

Mods advocating arson attacks on embassies. Shameful!

@Musings @Waz Please pay attention lest this new forum gets into trouble.
Sometimes juices and tempers flow. Things are said in haste and anger and I completely understand it sometimes boiling over on occasion. I’m guilty of passionate and posts sometimes which are aggressive.
You also sometimes pour oil on the fire by suggesting “proxy wars” etc.
70 years plus of rape torture murder - collective punishment and illegal settlements sometimes make people lose control and show understandable frustration. When there is an occupier - you will always have a resistance against it.
Israel are massacring 1000s of innocent kids - with respect stop trying to sugarCoat this and both sides should bla bla bla.
For once - just for once - say it how it is.
It’s deplorable and quite horrific. Don’t attempt to pretend to equate this to a member passionately crossing the line occasionally.

It is Hamas that is Iran's proxy here. Interestingly you prefer to claim that it is all Palestinians, the majority of whom are merely caught up in this war by proxy and paying a horrendous price for it. Also Palestine is not a State yet. And Both Hamas and Israel are using all resources available to each one of them, unequal as they may be, to fight as best as they can, which is what always happens in all wars.

I have said that all along Sir. Always. War is the ugliest thing there is among humankind, and utterly abhorent to me in all its forms.

Anyway, if passion is reason enough to make everyone lose their senses here, then so be it. I have nothing further to say here. Management always have the right to run their forum as they decide best.

we can ask Palestinians if they agree with your characterisation

Families of captives and supporters have blamed the Israeli prime minister for putting the captive deal and the country at risk and not handling it properly.
