Attacking the Iranian consulate is not an easy matter
It is more dangerous than attacking leaders

Israel wants war and is provoking Iran and Hezbollah, whether by attacking leaders, striking the Lebanese depth of the Bekaa, or attacking the Iranian consulate today, which is considered the most daring strike by Israel against Iran so far.

All of this to push them to respond and escalate against it in order to gain full Western support

Israel wants war, but it wants Hezbollah and Iran to start it so that the international position will be with it and to appears innocent and aggressed against..

The northern front will inevitably be ignited..
We will let the days tell us what will happen in the region

fully agree

some difficulties for Iran to respond:
- strikes in Syria are easier than strikes in other countries given Syria does not have full sovereignty (and there is no Israeli embassy or Israeli troops in Syria)
- Iranian forces are very close to Israel's borders (Damascus is 50km away from occupied Golan Heights) but Iran has to strike 1200km away to reach Israel
- Iran's Axis of Resistance is a vast decentralised network across many countries and much more vulnerable than tiny fortified Israel with the densest network of advanced air defences in the world
