It does not matter. The plan from the beginning approved by Jewish Pentagon and all their lackeys is to cause a mass ethnic cleansing event and force Palestinians into Egypt.
If Egypt was serious it would militarily prevent Israel from bombing the fence. Not allow a ethnic cleansing event and have Palestinains expelled. After which the Jews will make EU, US and others take them in.

Israel's doing a more than full scale invasion on Rafah. Presenting it as a military activity in eastern Rafah. It's a full scale invasion being announced in stages. To downplay what's happening. Foreign press is unable to cover the massive assault taking place as Israel killed all journalists and attacks foreign media infrastructure.

Wonder how the US will spin this. I think this incursion will be limited and is an attempt to extract some more concessions from Hamas in the negotiations before agreeing to a deal. They want it to be on their terms and don't want Hamas to say that Israel accepted their amendments to the deal (even if in reality those amendments came from Egypt and had some kind of support from the CIA).

You have it wrong. They're actively attempting a mass ethnic cleansing event. There's no concessions Hamas could make. They're trying to erase Gaza from the map and kill everyone. And they want to permanently occupy and bombarded Gaza until the international community just decides to capitulate to Israel and do the ethnic cleansing via 'migration' for them.

Bibi has to do *something* in Rafah to claim victory and hold onto power. But now that Hamas agreed, they will be under a lot of pressure from the US to agree to the deal in the coming days. They just want to have the final say and launching their operation now is a way for Bibi to claim victory and say he did enter Rafah, and to allow Israel to have the final say as to the terms of the agreement reached.
But time will tell. I give it 1-2 weeks before we have a ceasefire.

This is a Israeli source. Palestinains are reporting same thing. For the people that buy into Netanyahu's propaganda of 'limited targeted strikes or invasions' nonsense. They say that to downplay significance of the mass murder and mayhem they're unleashing on Gaza. Don't play along with them. You should do the opposite and make clear the severity of the situation.

Bibi was elected by the terrorist Jewish Israeli population. He wasn't going anywhere. It's the radical Jewish community that's orchestrating and conducting this. And they want a complete extermination of the Palestinian people. It's downplaying it to say Netanyahu is trying to save face. I know that's not your intention. But it is downplaying it and passing off responsibility to one person.
