Good thing that Hezbolah has complete field awareness about enemy concentrations and movement along the border so such scenario is not unrealistic. I can not see how iof can cut of Hezbolah from tactical observance capability unless they implement IvoJima tactics which is not realistic in material capacity.

My own thoughts are--and I admit I don't know much weapon systems in general-- that the real escalation will come in a massive way: Multifront attacks on Israel with everything thrown in from Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, Iraq, and Yemen with possible inclusion of Iran. I think Egypt and Jordan will not be able to resist joining the war due to huge internal pressure. Counter to that will be massive American/NATO missiles, bombers, and fighter aircrafts. I think, without much noise, Americans are probably massively building weapons for that day, at least as a 'contingency'; sadly in America, one industry which is still flourishing and providing jobs is warfare! The last bone was probably already thrown toward Ukraine and it looks like Americans have given up on Ukraine--so off to another war to kill and make $$!

I think the Resistance against Israel is saving the real lethality for that day, should it come. And unless Americans throw a bone toward Putin over Ukraine, Russia will at least provide intelligence and maybe air defenses/missiles to the Resistance.

But no one wants that war except for Netanyahu and probably a chunk of Israelis and of course the NeoCons in America. The beneficiary of such a war will be war-profiteers in America and their affiliated 'industries', also the Russians, the Indians and the Chinese. Biggest losers will be Europe and the Middle East--and Israel will cease to exist as a result of that war.
