It will make war expensive for Iran to sustain & finally the utter defeat for it.This will defeat the whole purpose of having proxies.

These militias are canon fodders to keep neo-nazis fighting. They are not there to wipe out Israel.
Nazis are the ones who travel thousands of miles to murder in and bomb another country.

Terrorists killed on unprecedented scale: IDF divisions achieve major milestones in Gaza - analysis

According to military sources in the Southern Command, the division is accumulating achievements that cannot yet be published but are at the core of Hamas's strength-building efforts.

The IDF divisions operating in the Gaza Strip have achieved numerous successes there. While some milestones are still not cleared for publication, those that have been highlight operational successes of Israel’s war effort.

The 162nd Division, led by Brig.-Gen. Itzik Cohen, has made significant gains in two areas of Gaza: the Philadelphi Corridor and the city of Rafah, with a focus on the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood.

According to military sources in the Southern Command, the division has accumulated achievements that cannot yet be published but significantly harm Hamas's strength-building efforts.

To this can be added the killing of dozens of terrorists every day.

"The fighting pace of the brigade combat teams deserves great appreciation," said the sources.

On the Egyptian border, troops continued engineering activity to map the area, locate the tunnels, and subsequently destroy them.

The 98th Division, under the command of Brig.-Gen. Guy Levy is currently fighting in the Khan Yunis area and Deir al Balah, in areas where the IDF has not maneuvered until now. So far, three tunnels have been destroyed, in one of which the bodies of the hostages were found.

"The knowledge and professional level of the troops are thoroughly dismantling Hamas's underground infrastructure," military officials said, adding that "unlike in the past, today the force that handles each infrastructure knows how many terrorists were there, when they left, what their purpose was, where the route leads, where the tunnel ends.

"There are tunnels that Hamas uses, and the 98th Division destroys them," the source added.

The Philadelphi Corridor

The 252nd Division under the command of Brig.-Gen. Yehuda Vach is responsible for the security of the Philadelphi Corridor and the corridor's expansion in recent weeks.

The IDF invested in infrastructure and security components in the corridor. This indicates that the future control of the corridor is not something Israel will not easily cede in hostage deal negotiations.

The IDF controls the area completely, and the military's grip there has only grown due to activities in the area's outskirts, with an emphasis on the Zeitoun neighborhood.

While there has been criticism regarding a lack of artillery fire and aerial strikes, aerial photographs indicate the operational achievement that harms Hamas's freedom of action and reinforces Israel's bargaining chip in the hostage deal negotiations.

The Gaza Division, commanded by Brig.-Gen. Avi Rosenfeld is responsible for border protection and expanding a buffer area. In recent weeks, the fence has been repaired, and new sensors and means of observation are gradually being placed.

The targeting command center of the IDF Southern Command under the command of Col. Y. operates around the clock to track down Hamas officials. However, the terror group's military branch has switched to guerilla tactics. It mainly operates underground and from educational institutions.

Despite this cynical exploitation, the Southern Command succeeded in attacking and killing terrorists on an unprecedented scale, turning Hamas's attempts to regain control of the territory and recovery into a sense of being hunted.

The security establishment expects an increase in the pace and closing of the circle of fire, especially when the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and Unit 504 work to activate agents and expand the scope of sources and agents operating in the field.
Ah, yes, Nazi, 41 Palestinians killed this morning from three different families. Definitely dozens of resistance fighters:

what another heinous crime in another hospital. Israelis sure are brave murdering unarmed people. The most cowardly people.

The whole world can see IDF is a cowardly military! I bet deep down even Israelis know that by now.
You see: Gone are the bombastic claims of 'Israel can prevail over all its enemies' blah blah that used to be their way before this conflict began. Now, they are so humbled that they are even relying on 'friendly Arab nations' [yes, Israelis use such words!] to again help block the Iranian missiles and drones.

The world has seen how Israelis use Palestinian kids as human shield or strap civilians on their vehicles. The world has seen this so-called professional army soldiers doing hip-hop dance in front of tanks, surrounded by destruction. The world has seen how they take pics with women undies. I still find it hard to believe how utterly unprofessional and cowardly they turned out to be--the mask is removed for the whole world to see. Israelis were basking in the glory of the '67 war, the Raid on Entebbe, the Munich manhunt blah blah... until this conflict happened!

I can't even say 'Oh, how the Mighties have Fallen'. They were never the Mighties to begin with! A myth created by their brothers in Hollywood.

The IDF said they had already gathered some intelligence from Alkadi, both in the field and at Soroka Medical Center.

The IDF and the Shin Bet on Tuesday early afternoon rescued Israeli-Bedouin hostage Qaid Farhan Alkadi from southern Gaza, who was held by Hamas since October 7 from Mivtachim in the South.

The operation was led by Division 162, Brigade 401, the Nahal Brigade. Yahalom anti-tunnel special forces, along with the Shayetet 13 naval commandos.

Alkadi, age 52, from Rahat, is a father to 11 children.

Alkadi is healthy and is undergoing further health checks at Soroka Medical Center.

The IDF said that they had already gathered some intelligence from Alkadi both in the field and at Soroka.

IDF Chief Spokesman Daniel Hagari refused to share any details about the battle to free the hostage and how many Hamas forces it confronted, potentially suggesting that there are additional goals that may be achieved on an ongoing basis later Tuesday.

Questioned whether Alkadi partially succeeded in escaping on his own, though with later aid by the IDF, Hagari did not deny the possibility but did not confirm it and warned about informational security.

It is the fourth successful operation to rescue live Israeli hostages from Hamas, though there have been several successful operations finding and returning dozens of bodies of hostages killed by Hamas.

He is the eighth live hostage rescued from Gaza, which brings the number of remaining hostages down to 108 from an original round of 250.

Alkadi is the first live hostage to be rescued from a tunnel, with all prior live hostage rescues taking place above ground.

Sinwar is finished and the iron is hot for Israel to hit Hezbollah in force - opinion

Yahya Sinwar's time is running out, and while there is little interest in an all-out war, Israel must take decisive military action to secure its borders and citizens.

The US needs to recognize that Yahya Sinwar, the Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, who is well aware that his time is running out, will not agree to any deal that does not involve a significant withdrawal from the Philadelphi Corridor and Rafah crossing, along with assurances from both the US and Israel that he will not be assassinated.

Yahya Sinwar is a dead man walking. His cruelty and direct responsibility for the October 7 massacre have sealed his fate. The large number of terrorists killed each minute is of no concern to him; in fact, their deaths continue to fuel his false narrative.

The Palestinians, who have turned their self-victimization into nationalism, use the Al-Jazeera news network to showcase the ruins of Gaza and the hundreds of dead terrorists within it to the world.

Sinwar, whose attempts to expand the conflict to an all-out war on other fronts have failed so far, is hiding in a tunnel, trying to figure out his next move. The odds are against him, and he knows his time is nearly up. He has shown no flexibility so far, but soon, he may have no choice.

He is waiting for the war to expand in the north, and if that doesn't happen, he will be forced to give in. Sinwar is frustrated and helpless in the face of Israel's unexpectedly harsh response, the deaths of his closest associates, and what seems like a complete lack of support from Iran.

Iran has a lot to lose, and its leaders are well aware of this. The US's display of strength by deploying aircraft carriers and submarines to the region has been enough to deter Iranian leadership for the moment. The US is not interested in an all-out war in the region.

With the US presidential elections approaching in November, a war with Iran could severely damage the global economy, raising oil prices and potentially increasing Vice President Kamala Harris's chances of election.

Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah is frustrated by the failure of his attempted attack on Israel on Sunday. His false claims about a "precise" strike on Israeli military positions reveal his frustration and fear but also allow him to close the incident, at least for now.

Can Lebanon survive a war?

Wiam Wahhab, Lebanon's former Minister of Environment and a close ally of Hezbollah admitted in an interview that if war were to break out, Lebanon could become the next Gaza. It's clear that all parties involved, especially the US and Iran, are interested in keeping the conflict contained.

Israel cannot remain silent as its soldiers and civilians are killed, their homes destroyed, and their land burned in the north, where Hezbollah's attacks are relentless.

Now that Hezbollah's most recent attack has failed, Israel cannot wait for the Shiite group to initiate the next round, with or without Iranian involvement. Israel must act to reduce the Hezbollah threat. About 70,000 Israeli citizens are displaced, waiting to return to their homes.

Israel must demand the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. However, given the slim chances of reaching a diplomatic solution that satisfies Israel, there is a real possibility that the IDF may carry out an operation in Lebanon.
