Israels actions will have reprecussion for Jewry in the wider MENA region, that is for certain. The US is in relative decline, so are Europen states like France, Germany and the UK, who are all traditional supporters of Israel.
Netanyahoo and his governments actions is going to be the beginning of the end of the colonial zionist state. There is no way Israel can successfully copy the settler colonialism in North America that ultimately wiped out native population. Western Europe was then a vigorous and ascending world power, while native americans was just scattered tribes comparable with present day San and Masai people.
That leaves the question why Israel is risking it all, for what is inevetable: The end of the gruesome settler colonial state.

There was a serious incident that occurred at a fortified site belonging to the Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade in Jabalia (while the soldiers were leaving for leave), where about twenty gunmen attacked and entered the site, three soldiers were killed and 20 others were injured.
The occupation army completed its investigation into the incident, which was described as very serious, and among the results that emerged was that Hamas members filmed the attack from a close distance in a manner similar to the attacks carried out by Hezbollah on occupation army positions in the security zone in southern Lebanon.
There are two statements from Al-Qassam regarding storming military points in Jabalia
The first statement of the Qassam yesterday
After their return from the battle lines, our mujahideen reported storming a Zionist military point and clashing with enemy soldiers with light weapons and hand grenades, leaving them dead and wounded in the Abu Safiya area, east of the Jabalia camp, in the north of the Gaza Strip.
The second statement of the Qassam today
In a complex operation, the Qassam Mujahideen were able to storm a new military point established by the occupation army in the Jabalia camp in the north of the Gaza Strip. From point zero, they eliminated 5 soldiers, burned a Zionist “Mirkavah” tank and its crew, and targeted a military jeep with a number of soldiers inside with hand grenades, killing them. And wounded
It is not clear which of these two incidents Maariv means, because the two incidents yesterday and today are similar and in Jabalia.
