This news is all wrong, should read a freedom fighter killed 21 terrorists.A deadly attack has killed 21 Israeli soldiers in Gaza, the country's military has said, a major setback that could add to mounting calls for a cease-fire.
The soldiers were preparing explosives to demolish two buildings in central Gaza on Monday when a terrorist fighter fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a tank nearby, according to Israeli media reports overnight.
The blast triggered land mines, causing the buildings to collapse on the soldiers, killing 21 - the largest single loss of life for the Israeli military since the war began.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said it was a 'difficult and painful morning,' but that Israel was committed to pressing ahead.
'This war will determine the future of Israel for decades to come, and the fall of soldiers is a requirement to achieve the goals of the war,' he wrote on X.
Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari told reporters the IDF was 'investigating the details of the event and the reasons for the explosion.'
'We worked to find the victims until the last hours,' Hagari added, indicating the difficulty in extracting bodies buried under the rubble. 'Our reservists sacrificed what was dearest to them, so that we could all live here in complete safety.'

What happened in Khan Yunis (1)?
- Last night, the enemy opened a new axis of fighting from the western side of the city, and this area has historically witnessed violent confrontations and incursions, from the beginning of the second intifada until the enemy’s withdrawal from Gaza.
One of the most important natural characteristics of the area is that it is completely open and flat. It does not allow the defending forces to adequately fortify, due to the lack of buildings.
The enemy thought that the area was soft and weak, so he advanced there quickly, in order to surprise the defending forces, in complete contrast to the slow pattern in which the advance took place in Khan Yunis, and without conducting the required fire preparation, or adequate intelligence survey.
From preliminary information, we understand that the enemy was involved in a precise luring operation, and the forces (infantry and mechanized) were targeted, after defeating them in a carefully prepared killing spree.
It is clear that the killing was prepared to include booby-trapped buildings, luring infantry forces to them, then targeting them in three buildings with the push of a button, simultaneously targeting enemy vehicles accompanying the force, followed by an operation to cut off rescue supplies and invest in the success of the operation by developing another ambush or raid.
According to Al-Qassam, the enemy crushed one of its targeted tanks, including its forces, after failing to advance to rescue those inside it, due to the intensity of the fire, the ferocity of the fighting, and the fear that a member of the force would be captured.
The event is still in its infancy, and we are waiting for what Al-Qassam says.

They are blatantly targeting civilians even those waving white flags. So many videos of them committing war crimes, Israel needs to be held accountable in the ICJ. If no justice is served, they need to disband the ICC because it only would serve Western interests.
