Wherever there are British colonialists there is always major trouble. Even after they have left the shit show.

Osama Hamdam (one of the leaders of Hamas):

The issue of the resistance’s weapons, the resistance’s leaders, the resistance’s people, and our relationship with the resistance’s supporters, all of this is out of discussion. We will never accept anyone talking to us about it, and we will not allow it to be brought up at all.

I was one of those too, but seeing the helpless emotions out of them, and woe is me attitude and coupling that with the news of the sanctions on the missile program, turns out Pakistan might not be the puppet that some make it out to be. At this moment, the U.S. will use the dissenters as a pressure tool against the military in Pakistan. So far overseas Pakistanis haven’t really turned against Pakistan like the Iranians have against their own kin back home.
Gotta give the regime in Pindi credit, they are cold blood calculating.

We are getting a little off topic but then maybe it is related to this topic because too many, too lazily use Pakistan as an 'American Puppet' even in the context of this latest Gaza conflict. But there are NUMEROUS examples of Pakistan standing its ground between 2001 and 2021 American presence in Afghanistan!! I don't think any other Muslim country, with the exception of Iran and Turkey, would be ready to face the economic and even military action for so (cleverly) working against the American interests in Afghanistan for two decades.
Glad you are more knowledgeable about this matter now!

You did all that with Arab support..this is well documented..They were the first Mujahedin in Afghanistan..does the name OBL tell you something!

Pakistan could not take on the US..do you remember when the US drones killed 17 or more Pakistani border guards and there was no reaction from Pakistan military.. or the US going in to snap OBL from inside Pakistan..???
What help did the Arabs give from 2001 to 2021? We saw your skills in managing proxies wars in Syria. It was the Turks who won in Syria. I don’t hate you guys, in fact prefer you over the Persians and other Muslims since you’re earnest and have humility.

Actually Pakistan blocked the American supplies to Afghanistan for 6 months and the Americans had to apologize for 'the mistake'.
As for the OBL operation, it was done due to the Pakistan provided intelligence which Obama himself acknowledged. It would be totally off topic to discuss that but if you are comparing the independence of Pakistan vs any Arab nation then I'd say there is no comparison: Pakistan is far more independent than any Arab nation with the possible exception of the Houthis controlled Yemen.

Persians always catching strays
No, I just think you, Afghans, Indians are overtly arrogance and nonstop bring your past accomplishments. The Gulf Arabs are very accepting and basically given the poorer Muslim nations and Christian ones ample financial support and jobs program.

I’m 50/50 on the Turks. Btw I’m Pakistani Shia of partial Persian descent through my great-grandfather.

My views through extensive travel through the Middle East.

Against all odds of the world, Egypt rebuilds Gaza with its people kept on its land 👍

He is talking about the more important war/conflict here. The USSR/Afghanistan war. Here Arabs, KSA in particular, played a key role. Nobody can deny this.

Also nobody but Syrians won in Syria nor did Turks "win" anything. HTS was mostly supported by KSA and Qatar anyway which explains why the new Syrian government visited KSA as the first nation and why the new administration is praising KSA constantly. Turkey played a role in the North and have to be given credit but much easier when you border Syria directly.

Chechens, Bosnians and numerous others will disagree with you in this regard btw.

Arabs are in general world famous (not my own words just general consensus) in terms of our hospitality and generosity and it is hard to disagree with this. As well as overall (in my personal interaction and demographics also confirm this) most tolerant in the region when it comes to accepting and living alongside minorities be they religious, ethnic or even racial. Just take a look at how diverse KSA is and how we have welcomed and assimiliated every single Muslim ethnic group from Bosnians to Indonesian to African Muslims to Central Asian Muslims to South Asian Muslims.

In not many places like in KSA will you find an Arab praying next to a Slavic, South East Asian, Central Asian, South Asian and African Muslim and they all have the same passport and nationality.

Sure there are also some racist/supremacist (common all over our part of the world to be frank with you - you see this on this very forum even from time to time) bad apples but this is common all across the board regardless of country. But they do exist and are often vocal but most don't take them seriously.

Nor being this generous in hosting so many expats (Muslim mainly) from all corners of the Muslim world when nothing stops KSA from solely accepting Muslim expats and believe me, we have a 550 + million pool of people to take from, many would give an arm and a leg to work and live in KSA/GCC.

As for Shias, percentage wise and in terms of numbers there are more Arab Shias in Arabia than anywhere else in the Arab world and there has never been any sectarian wars or conflicts. If you consider Southern Iraq Arabia (geographically it is) and often included, this number increases even more. We are far more tolerant in this regard than most of the Arab world despite the propaganda you hear from well-known sources (I will not mention them here as they should be self-evident and I don't want to be accused of sectarianism for stating the truth).

It is because it is almost physically impossible to displace the Gazans without providing large number of boots on the ground that the Trump administration is backpaddling. Maybe Trump told Netanyahu: 'Go ahead, send your OWN soldiers into Gaza. I am not sending American soldiers'.
Those who voted for Trump are a combination of isolationists, racist, economic reformers, anti immigrants, anti Muslims but they all have one thing in common: No American casualties for anyone--not even for Israel.

Brother, look at my post from above:

The Arabs gave a lot of financial help, no doubt. That was enormous. I’m not denying it.

Yeah more or less. He says the right thing (or wrong), but have no doubt they’re all for a stronger America. He doesn’t want the foreign mess interfering with his domestic agenda. I voted independents for the reasons you listed above, I couldn’t bring myself for voting for Trump this time around vs when I did in 2016 and 2020. You and I differ on our views about supporting him. I didn’t want my hands dirty for what was to come with this admin so it was safer by voting Ind. I hate the liberal progressives with a passion.
