The myth of Arabs or the Iranians using Palestinians as a pawn is decades long and ridiculous. The Arabs fought several wars against Israel but in last 2-3 decades have concluded that they don't have the means to challenge a Superpower's regional proxy, who also happens to control the political class of a Superpower. There has been no more the Soviet Union who would provide some support. So the Arab nations and now Iran--which has seemingly abandoned the support-Palestine project after 40+ years--are resigned to better their own lives.
But, of course, myth worshippers are blind to the historical events.

These people never learn. Putting blind trust in the Arab [LEAGUE] and giving [the] Arabs [LEAGUE] so much say in their lives has yielded 0, less than 0.
