The world once warm with love's embrace Now stands forsaken, a hollowed space. Where children's dreams, like fragile flames, Are extinguished by hate's cruel claims,

Morality lies, broken, still, A shadow beneath the sunlit hill. The powerful feast on blood and tears, their laughter ringing in the widow's ears.

The strong grow fat on broken lives,
Heartless silence is the pain, the dagger of inhumanity the bane.

The weak are slain, their echoes lost,
Their worth dismissed, their lives the cost.
And lies parade as truths so grand,
With empty words in calloused hands.

Inaction reigns, a bitter king,
While innocence forgets to sing.
Yet even here, in shadow’s breath,
A spark may rise, defying death.

For darkness, vast, may seem to rule,
But light endures where hearts stay true.

From the rubble, children's smiles and voices,
The spirit of life rises, defying the tyrants of hell.
Through dust and ash, their laughter rings,
Like birds that dare to spread their wings.

Bruised hands build where ruins lay,
Turning night into hopeful day.
Eyes once dim now hold a spark,
A flicker of dawn in endless dark.

Mothers cradle children and dreams from evil’s clutch, hearts still beating, despite the shattered streets and nameless graves, Love's faint whisper always saves.

No tyrant's blade, no tyrant's wrath, no chain of steel, Can crush the human soul's freedom fight. For truth will burn through night's deceit, And morning’s light will death defeat.

Khansaheeb

To 'provoke law enforcement' or to promote pro-Israel legislation?

In the aftermath of these incidents -- publicized front page by the media every single day for weeks -- a number of new laws have been enacted to criminalize criticism of Israel in universities and in the country at large.

That was my point.

Who was paying these gangs to do these things?

How things have turned... every crap and trash was named freedom... they hate us for our freedom coming full circle in mere 20 years! That's a zinger right there...

That award too goes to Palestine!

A usual retort for unprovoked, unsubstantiated lies and hatred was, get used to it, it's called freedom. Well, it was selective back then and even less now...

Honestly, having spent most of my life in America, deeply embedded in the local culture but I had never seen anything like this. Yes, there was the McCarthy era but that was way before I was even born. Even America, after 9/11, under Bush Jr., didn't sink this low. I had been warning for months that Trump would do Netanyahu's bidding but never thought a day like this would come in America where legal residents would be imprisoned for peaceful protests.

These kinds of illegal, openly racist actions would never have been official condoned by a Harris administration.

And I am seldom wrong on these things and so mark my words: These kinds of arrests of even legal American residents is just the beginning unless forceful counter measures are taken. Those of brown skin or non-America born here: Do know that Netanyahu was greatly rattled by the protests and considers you his enemy after what happened in the last 15 months as protests. The article by Michele Goldberg of NY Times is not written in support of the Palestinians--but it is written for her and other Americans as well.

Yes, this was so illegal that it had to be over-turned. But how many others who would self-muzzle because of this? You know that NY Times had written that the rich Jewish donors had muzzled even the elite universities a few months ago using $$ as threat!

This screen cap info along with that Michelle Goldberg article is on the front page of NY Times.
