TruePakistan is unfortunately a sorry ass country. It's economy is in shambles and politically it is unstable. It is however militarily quite strong. The sole nuclear power in the Islamic world.
Iran and Yemen do. Turkey does too, but it sold itself and its capabilities to NATO a long time ago.Other Islamic states don't have any punch.
When Palestinians attacked Israel in October 2023, so many Muslims here were cheering them on, oblivious to or uncaring about the inevitable repercussions. Pakistanis were (and still are) willing to fight Israel to the last Palestinian. (They themselves will offer "moral support." and wage online jihad.)
The Israelis were being called a diaper army who can't fight Allah's own warriors, and the expectation was that Israel would be severely degraded and Palestinians would score a noble victory.
@Aziqbal insisted that the (imagined) gains on the battlefield were due to divine help from his god, @Falcon29 to this day insists that any Israeli who enters Gaza would die in nasty ways (despite the IDF occupying most of Gaza and Hamas having been eviscerated), and Pakistanis want the conflict to continue, even though it's Palestinians (not Pakistanis) being genocided.
I would like to remind everybody about this song from the Yom Kippur war, still relevant today. Pay close attention to the lyrics:
I know what the ineluctable responses would be from all Pakistanis and some others - ad hominems about my national origin, and what they think is my religion. No introspection about whether Palestinians should have attacked a superior enemy, only to bring death and destruction on their populace on a scale not seen before in that conflict.
