A bit too late from China, or Russia to make any alliance that will make any difference right now. Iran is very exposed and vulnerable right now and I think the orange idiot will try something that Iran will not be able to fend off(imho).

Yes but for sure the drums of the war against Iran are gaining the momentum which has been missing for the past 40+ years; anyone here old enough to remember how the 'consent' was 'manufactured' leading to the Iraq war 2003 would be able to see the pattern. But I think even Trump will be forced to not go that route because it will be absolutely disastrous for America, too, along with Iran and the region--and for Israel too, which might not even exist after that war.

But Netanyahu is surely working hard to muzzle any dissent in America. He was greatly rattled by the student protests as he, rightly, saw the shades of the Vietnam War of decades ago. The front page of NY Times right now--four stories!! I used to think America, along with the UK, was the free-est Western democracy, as I saw during the Covid Pandemic, but no more when it comes to the Middle East. You guys in the UK are blessed right now on that count!
