A ground assault on eastern Gaza City is also reported to be ongoing. This week has seen the heaviest escalation of the ground and aerial assault since the ceasefire collapsed last month.Rafah "is gone, it is being wiped out," a father of seven among the hundreds of thousands who had fled from Rafah to neighboring Khan Younis, told Reuters via a chat app.
"They are knocking down what is left standing of houses and property," said the man who declined to be identified for fear of repercussions.

Yes, the 'many' vs 'most' argument. I have heard that before. The 'most' are as Zionists as they get while the 'many' are too miniscule to matter and often called 'the self hating Jews'. But then... all of us are 'tribal' in nature, including the Muslims, so no isolating the Jews.too late for them, zionism is mainstream belief among modern jews. Literally most support it. We have synagogues in UK raising money for Israeli soldiers. Every Jewish institute is zionist. The ones that anti zionist are fringe groups essentially. I bet western media will try and rewrite history to make it seem Zionism was fringe ideology belief among the Jewish people. One has to question why vast majority of jews support such a cult, its clearly do to the religion.
Insightful post!!This is just a fool’s wish.
Turkey only focuses on its narrow strategic interests (territorial integrity). Turkey faced threats from the likes of PKK, Kurdish separatists in Syria. It has supported regime change in Syria and achieved it, and will reap its rewards in Northern Syria. Whereas Israel reaping the Syrian regime change rewards in south Western Syria.
Turkey has no interest to come into direct conflict with Israel. There are also inclinations that Trump likes Erdogan, and will probably give him a free hand to do what he wants in Northern Syria (Trump will likely abandon the Kurds in the long run); as long as he keeps peace with Israel, and does not interfere with US/Israel in the Middle East.
You honestly believe that?In all fairness to the Arab states--and I have not been casually accusing them of this or that for the last many months, as the Arab nationalists here would confirm-- the GCC countries along with Jordan/Iraq and others Arab countries who matter--have clearly told the Trump administration that they wouldn't take part in any attacks against Iran or even allow their soil or airspace to be used. And hence the Americans are, painfully, having to rely on the American bases in the Indian Ocean.
You see: Iran can destroy a lot in its vicinity before going down... So it is certainly a sense of self preservation that those Arab countries are a bit hesitant otherwise, as we all know, they even let their Sunni leader like Saddam to be toppled and killed...
