These militants organisations and so called islamist parties are actually very modern pro western thinking, they live like the west, eat, dress like them, they want money, power, influence, they are greedy, selfish, all the traits which the western giants love as they can buy these people. Today west is removing sanctions, will send in big companies, slowly will control Syria and its resources. Think about it, why doesn't the west treat the Taliban the same? Taliban is moderate compared to HTS, the only difference is they want to be independent and not western or Saudia puppet. For the Usa and their puppet ally Saudis through whom they control the Muslim nations this is not acceptable, all muslim nations must submit to Saudia and UAE, who in turn bend down to Usa and Israel. Although I believe if HTS is strongly pro Turkey it will lead to big issues, this is something we will wait and see, at the moment HTS is sharing power but slowly they will try to take more control, through the army and promotion of salafism, let's see.
Another example is Hamas, the reason they are treated as outlaws by the USA Egypt Saudia UAE is only because they also think of themselves as independent Palestine movement and not a puppet of anyone. This is why they are not ready to sell Palestine despite pressure from fellow Arab nations.
