The promise to lift sanctions off Syria are meant to distract Arabs temporarily.

The talks with Iran are meant to distract Iran as well.

From the situation in Gaza. Basically telling them leave Gaza aside. Don't even do activism on behalf of Gaza. You will feel relief soon. If they achieve what they want in Gaza.

Sanctions will be reinstated on Iran and Syria immediately.
