Hamas responds to Netanyahu's statements regarding the ceasefire in Gaza



he Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" said that the statements of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the ceasefire in Gaza again confirm that "we are facing a criminal of war who is obsessed with murder and genocide, pushing the entire area towards the abyss in the service of his narrow political goals."

The movement stated, in a press statement on Wednesday evening, that Netanyahu's conversation - required for the International Criminal Court - that any temporary ceasefire agreement will be a prelude to the resumption of war, proves his intention to thwart the negotiating path and destroy the chances of completing an exchange deal that leads to the release of the prisoners.

She added that "Netanyahu's reference to Trump's plan for displacement as a target of his criminal war on Gaza is an explicit recognition of the crime of forced displacement under the weight of genocide," calling on the American administration to clarify its position on this dangerous statement, at a time when it plays the role of mediator in the negotiations of stopping war.

The movement stressed that the international community is required to move urgently to stop the brutal massacres against civilians in Gaza, and to hold Netanyahu accountable for "its continuous crimes of genocide, starvation and forced displacement", which constitute a flagrant violation of international law and human rights covenants.
