It is not my opinion. Ask yourself this question, and if you can answer it truthfully, you will admit that I am correct:

Why is it that no Muslim country - despite being self-governing for over half a century (give or take) has been able to develop to be at the forefront of any worthwhile human endeavor - education, health, research, economy, science, creativity, the list goes on - despite having all the resources necessary for doing so being freely available to them in one form or another?
According to some people history only started in the last 200 years and because Muslim countries did not industrialise as quickly as Western imperialists something something Israeli genocide in Gaza is not America's or Israel's fault but the fault of Muslim countries

Look at us even - using all the rewards available to us by the hard work of others - to heap hypocritical condemnation on them for not doing right by us, when we betray ourselves at all levels.

And then we demand equality and respect. It is never going to happen unless we work to get it for ourselves. There are no shortcuts.

What Israel is doing as the topic of this thread is made possible only by our own persistent failures by our own choices for decades upon decades. 100%. Blaming anyone else is dishonest and useless.
What a servile thought you have belittling the contribution of Muslims to the world.

I don’t understand what all that has to do with the situation in Gaza. I agree that we Muslims have to start holding our leaders accountable because we are lead by failures and dictators. This is a whole other topic though.

Yes, our failures have emboldened Israel to act without fear of reprisal. The backstabbing gulf nations sure make the situation much worse as well as those who help Israel bypass the Red Sea blockade.

Now with all that said, I have every right to point out what the West is also doing. We can criticize both things and still be correct. Just because we are led by puppets doesn’t mean we can just turn a blind eye to those who are helping enable the genocide in Gaza.

Now as far as using the rewards by others and being ungrateful. This is really disgusting if you believe this.

Michelle O'Neill, Prime Minister of Northern Ireland: “When I say there must be a ceasefire and when I call for dialogue, this includes everyone. Hamas will ultimately be a partner in peace in the Middle East, and dialogue is the only way to end the conflict.”

And that is the root cause. Until and unless we fix ourselves nothing will change. Rant and wail all you want.

Israel couldn’t even last two weeks without begging for more ammo from the U.S. They are getting munitions daily from the West. The only reason Israel exists is because of the West. They carpet bombed entire Gaza and still can’t defeat an outgunned resistance group.

Muslim and Arab world does need to do better. We have to unite and form our own economic and technological alliance.

This does not mean that we can’t criticize the West and their hypocritical support of genocidal Israel. voicing our views through education and the millions of protestors who are standing in solidarity with Palestine and demanding a ceasefire means something. We are demanding accountability by pressuring our governments all over the world especially those who enable Israel.

Israel’s ongoing war in the Gaza Strip is comparable to the massacres committed by Nazi Germany during World War II, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday. His scathing criticism comes as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are ramping up their ground assault against Hamas militants in the southern part of the densely populated Palestinian enclave.
“In front of the eyes of the whole world, Israel’s occupying forces brutally martyred 28,000 of our Palestinian brothers and sisters, most of them children and women,” Erdogan said during a speech at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s youth forum. The IDF’s strikes on schools, hospitals, mosques and other civilian sites are “attacks reminiscent of the Nazis,” he added.
A vocal critic of Israel, the Turkish leader has repeatedly compared Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler and condemned the military operation in Gaza.

The bombing campaign and the subsequent ground invasion has displaced around 85% of Gaza’s population and left around 570,000 Palestinians facing starvation, according to the UN. Some 1.4 million of the besieged enclave’s pre-war population of 2.2 million have fled to the southern city of Rafah, near the border with Egypt, after Israel had called for civilians to evacuate to the south.
Israel declared war on Hamas in response to the October 7 terrorist attack, in which some 1,200 people were killed and more than 200 were taken hostage. Dozens of hostages have since been released as part of a prisoner swap during a weeklong ceasefire in November.
Netanyahu’s office announced on Friday that the IDF will strike into Rafah to eliminate Hamas’ “intense activity” in the city. The Israeli military and officials have said that they are doing all they can to minimize the civilian death toll. The Jewish state’s diplomats have accused Hamas of using schools, hospitals and other sites as a cover for their rocket attacks and have told the UN that the militants are using civilians as human shields.

Last month, the Hague-based International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled that the State of Israel must “take all measures within its power” to prevent a “genocide” in Gaza. Netanyahu rejected the ruling as “not only false, but outrageous.”

Technological advancement has nothing to do with the situation in Gaza. Are we lagging behind? Yes we are lagging behind but we will get there. There will be growing pains but we are more than capable.

We can agree to disagree. There are many avenues one can take to get justice. Am I saying we shouldn’t better ourselves and take our justice in our own hands? No but we should definitely also hold others accountable. Genocide whether done by Muslims or by non-Muslims, we should all be against and demand accountability.
