The operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance groups on Monday, February 12, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations:

  • Clashed with a group of Israeli soldiers, killing at least 10 of them, from a point-blank range, near Abasan Al-Kabira in the eastern part of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip.
  • Announced the killing of 3 more Israeli captives in the Israeli airstrikes.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ operations:

  • Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli troops storming Balata camp in Nablus, targeting them with machine guns and explosive devices.
Mujahideen Brigades' operations:

  • Ambushed and inflicted casualties on an Israeli force that had barricaded itself in a house after it was booby-trapped and blown up in the Al-Sabra neighborhood.
  • Targeted the occupied Third Eye in the "southern Gaza envelope" with a barrage of rockets.
  • Carried out a joint rocket bombardment with the National Resistance Brigades of the settlements in the “southern Gaza envelope.”
  • Destroyed an Israeli military vehicle in the vicinity of the university area with an RPG shell.
  • Blew up an Israeli troop carrier with a Tandem shell in the vicinity of the industrial area in Gaza.

In the world we live in today - when the most sophisticated army with the latest technology in weaponry - starts shooting innocent children - what excuse and reasoning do they have? Then I see them on here and suggesting they are the victim - is ironic. They are the occupiers and always will be.

So sayeth the Prophets:
"For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth." Deuteronomy 7:6

"and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”
Exodus 19:6

So, oldenwisdom, heed the words of the Prophets and do not oppose Allah's chosen people.
It is written in the first Chapter of Holy Quran

Ghair ay Maghzoob e Alaihim

Be not like those on whom is Allah's fury!

It is about the Jews who WERE chosen people and then they degraded morally and Allah sent multiple Prophets to purify them and they killed some of them and tried to get Christ PBUH killed too but Allah made it a mystery.

Al jazeera journalist in the morning and commander of Hamas in afternoon.
Strange. Most of Gaza has been carpet bombed but the incredible chosen army has found a laptop with all the incriminating evidence.
Genocide and carpet bombing - innocent children being slaughtered and you want to highlight a planted laptop?

So sayeth the Prophets:
"For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth." Deuteronomy 7:6
You surely know better ... the embodiment of victimhood... the victims-in-chief!

"and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”
Exodus 19:6
Surely you don't want a duel of scripture...
Simply;

"But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination."

Ma'idah 5:18

So, oldenwisdom, heed the words of the Prophets and do not oppose Allah's chosen people.

"˹They were condemned˺ for breaking their covenant, rejecting Allah’s signs, killing the prophets unjustly, and for saying, “Our hearts are unreceptive!” it is Allah Who has sealed their hearts for their disbelief, so they do not believe except for a few."

An-Nissa 4:155

Hmm...
Adamant and self-righteous in commission. Surely you expect a receptive audience to your deception. You only deceived yourself.

These lot miss the “good old days” of Apartheid.

It is one thing to disagree with the government but to base their policies on favouring a foreign entity should mean they stand for treason.

Yes they may frame it for S Africa’s national interest but that young Jewish cricketer tweeting support for the Zionists should be looked at with a suspicious lens.

There are Zionist supporters and there are Palestinian supporters in our country. Most people here are appalled at what Israel is doing in Palestine and wish for a two state solution. Israel is a sovereign state even though it is an irresponsible one in our view. Supporting Israel in South Africa is no more illegal than supporting Palestine. Whilst most SAfricans agree that action must be taken against Israel, the issue is simply why us? We are far away and Palestine has a host of surrounding nations which could and ought to have taken action. It has become such an issue here that certain media outlets are claiming that Iran funded the ANC government's future election costs to get our country to proceed with the ICJ case. Then there was the call between Hamas and our Foreign Minister shortly after the Hamas attack. It all casts doubts against our government's bona fides behind launching the ICJ challenge. The Irish government and many other nations are now supporting SAfrica. Does that help any? No. Those nations are inconsequential to our economy. We are facing the wrath of the western nations who question why our government did not act against Russia in the same manner. At the end of the day, many people around the world are applauding SAfrica. The SAfricans however are the ones who are suffering the economic downfall of our government's decision. There are plenty of wars all around the world and on our doorsteps. There are many nations which carpet bomb their enemies and even their own people without any regard for the consequences. I am neither condoning their action nor Israel's. Many people's only concern is why we, as SAfricans have to bear the economic consequences of some holy or unholy war far far away in the Middle East. I guess that their concern is justified.

I understand those concerns and I guess that S Africa was pushed to do it as it also faced Apartheid and so was the only country where a large section of the adult population had lived under somewhat similar conditions as the Palestinians are now doing. Only difference is that Apartheid in Palestine is even more brutal than what S Africans faced before 1994.

Yes other nations, especially Muslim, should have submitted the case but the problem is that they are either US client states, pretty much destroyed by the West or just do not want to suffer economic pain(probably larger than S Africa that is relatively resource rich per capita), when it would be easier to dismiss the case as Muslims sticking up for Muslims. Not in any way defending the cowardice and outright collaboration of the Muslim world but just trying to explain the reasons why none took the case to ICJ.

Know that this does not help S Africa now but its economy will not rely on the western ones and the US-led financial system forever. Already China is the largest export market for S Africa and its growth is faster than the west as those markets are mature and so cannot take an ever increasing amount of exports.

Again, I hope that the economic damage to S Africa can be somewhat contained and that it can retain resilience somewhat as it is "punished" for doing the right thing.
