UNRWA: The agency's marginalization is a deliberate measure to punish the Palestinians collectively
- The Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) has condemned the deliberate measures aimed at marginalizing the role of the agency in providing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, describing it as an attempt to collectively pressure and punish the Palestinians to continue to live in the Strip.
- The Commissioner, through his account on "Twitter", indicated that the famine caused by the human being in Gaza was exacerbated as a result of attempts to replace the humanitarian relief system coordinated by the United Nations, known as the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation", an alleged relief system with political motives, killing nearly 1,400 people who suffer from hunger.
- He stressed that the prevention of UNRWA, which is the backbone of the humanitarian response in Gaza, from introducing any aid to the Strip since March 2, 2025, has exacerbated the crisis.
- The Commissioner denied that the agency's marginalization is linked to allegations of converting aid into armed groups, stressing that these measures are part of a deliberate policy to pressure the Palestinians.
