And there's video of IDF soldiers engaging in combat inside homes in Israel. People fled the Kibbutz and IDF took positions in their homes. And natural combat ensued.

Whatever you call 'October 7' was quite literally that. It didn't go perfectly and some chaos ensued because Israeli army fell faster than expected and some civilians from Gaza crossed the border through breach points, but it was a military operation in nature. Not a terrorist one.

It's very simple. Hamas didn't expect to be able to easily overrun Israeli southern division and capture so many soldiers. Each unit had a objective to engage and Israeli army base/infrastructure in the Gaza envelope region which Hamas collected intelligence on and had previously identified.

Each unit was trying really hard to achieve that objective. And units weren't communicating with each other in the beginning.

Once Hamas military commanders found out every Israeli army base was over ran, 300 Israeli soldiers were killed, and about 130-150 soldiers captured and brought into Gaza, they knew at that moment Israel was going to try to annihilating Gaza civilians.

At that moment also other Palestinian factions and civilians woke up to the news and crossed as well.

Hamas military commanders and other Palestinian faction leadership then decided they had to also try taking some hostages to prevent a carpet bombing of Gaza which they knew at that point Israel was going to do because of how successful the neutralization operation against the IDF southern division was.

That shows how much our army cares for our people and tried to protect them against Jewish and US genocidal cowardly evil. Israelis still went ahead and carpet bombed northern Gaza immediately and started this existential war forcing the Palestinians to fight for their survival.

And people of Gaza know Hamas and how much they love their cause and people. And stood by them during those pressing moments.
