...Before the mid-20th century, antisemitism among Arabs was imported. The 1840 Damascus Affair blood libel was eagerly pushed by French Catholic antisemites and was a precursor to other blood libels in the Arab world in later decades. It was profoundly influential in introducing European-style antisemitism to the Middle East.

Arab nationalism that grew in the late 19th century was in no small part a reaction to Zionism. It was followed by Arab socialism, as Marx' theories started to spread, mostly starting with Arab Christians.

But the first truly home-grown Muslim antisemitism was popularized by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and mostly through one man: Sayyid Qutb.

Qutb created an entirely new history of Islam that is centered around antisemitism and an anti-Jewish conspiracy theory. He dates the beginnings of Islam itself to 622 CE, not the more normally accepted 610 CE, because 622 is when Mohammed started looking at Jews as rivals and no longer potential partners. In Qutb's telling, 622 is when Jews started to wage an existential war against Islam that has never ended and will never end until the Jews themselves are eliminated. In his words, "this is an enduring war that will never end, because the Jews want no more no less than to exterminate the religion of Islam ... Since Islam subdued them (in Medina) they are unforgiving and fight furiously through conspiracies, intrigues, and also through proxies who act in the darkness against all what Islam incorporates."

This cosmic war according to Qutb, has gone on century after century:

I often see mainstream Arabic media describing the "character" of the Jews, as murderers, cheaters, liars and aggressive. This all comes from Qutb (although some of his antisemitic theories seem to come from the Mufti of Jerusalem.)

The only Western antisemitic ideas that Qutb didn't try to Islamicize were the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which he adopted in his theories. But everything else was his own home-grown antisemitic philosophy, which also regards America as a proxy for Jews.

This is the worldview of Al Qaeda, of ISIS, of Hamas. Qutb is considered a seminal thinker for them, who was followed by Sheikh Yussuf Qaradawi.

Qutb’s innovation was not to borrow European antisemitism whole cloth as the previous versions did, but to rewrite Islam itself as a cosmic struggle with Jews
. In doing so, he gave Islamists a philosophy that structurally requires Jewish disappearance. This is precisely what my larger thesis predicts: whenever a malign worldview senses Judaism as an existential threat, antisemitism is not an accident but an organizing principle. Qutb shows how that principle was Islamicized, and why Islamism cannot make peace with Jewish existence.

(Thanks to this great 2010 paper by Bassam Tibi)
Sayyid Qutb was a Great Muslim Philosopher and Intellectual.

European anti-semitism was based on irrational xenophobia and misguided racism of Europeans.

Muslim anti-semitism is a reaction to countless atrocities and crimes commited against Muslims by genocidical white, blond illegal Jewish migrants from Europe.

If there is no apartheid, injustice, human rights violations, ethnic cleansing and genocide against innocent women and children in Palestine - there would have been no any anti-semitism in the Muslim World. In fact, prior to creation of Israel, Jews lived peacefully among Muslims for centuries.

And stop applying Western standards to the Muslim World and talking about anti-semitism as if it is something bad or criminal.

In the end we are not Europeans who get you in prison for up to 7 years if you insult Jews, but who say that insulting Islam and Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is freedom of speech.

In Germany and USA you can use the word anti-semite as an insult. But in the Muslim world the word anti-semite is actually a compliment.

Attempt to capture IDF terrorist unfortunately failed but the team of 14-15 Palestinian fighters inflicted serious casualties on the IDF base

⚡️Netanyahu sets a deadline for Macron & accuses him of "fueling anti-Semitic fire" in France by calling for international recognition of the State of Palestine, according to an official letter addressed to the French head of state. — AFP

"I call on you to replace weakness with action, appeasement with will, and to do so before a clear date: the new Jewish year, September 23, 2025,"

France responded tonight, saying it needs no “lesson” on antisemitism in response to the letter.

Bibi is not wrong. There are more and more anti semitic acts in France, and Prez Macron is to shy about that fact.

Don’t disagree there is hatred of Jews in many parts of the world but should people who regularly incite hate and make racist remarks against their own Arab population really be the champions we aren’t even talking about Palestinians we are talking about Arafat living in Israel let him stop being a hypocrite first

There is going to be more and more. Moderate people out their are beginning to detest this Bibi character. Committing genocide and wholesale ethnic cleansing will leave its mark. This animal has managed to make every single Jew uncomfortable.
Macron isnt shy - he knows Bibi is a war criminal and can see whats coming......................

Tal Shoham, who returned to Israel after 505 days in Hamas captivity, spoke about the suffering in the tunnels, the hunger and despair, the rare moments of hope, and the painful separation from Guy Gilboa Dalal and Evyatar David, who remain in captivity.

In an interview with Kan Reshet Bet, Shehem recounted the extreme conditions he endured and the friends he left behind.

"Every morning, I am grateful to wake up at home with my children and my wife, Adi. We got our lives back. But every morning I wake up with Guy Gilboa Dalal and Evyatar David on my mind. After the video Hamas released a few weeks ago, the horrific images, the extreme hunger they inflicted on Evyatar—and I believe also on Guy—haunt me. I only wish for the moment they return home together with all the other hostages," he said.

Shoham described the inhumane conditions of captivity: "The experience itself—being in a narrow tunnel, without air, without oxygen, in extreme humidity, without a shower, in filth, under torture and abuse—is very hard to put into words." He said it took weeks before he could breathe freely and feel alive again.

For him, the main struggle was simply surviving each day. "I told Guy and Evyatar many times that our role there wasn’t to rescue ourselves or worry about a deal or end the war—it was simply to survive each day. Nothing else mattered down there, unlike now, where life is different for me."

He recalled a rare moment of hope when he received a letter from his wife after her release with their children: "One of the commanders, who had been my guard for the first three days and was in contact with my wife’s and children’s guards, must have taken a liking to us. As a gesture of goodwill, he decided to pass me a letter from her saying they had been kidnapped but that everyone, including women and children, were set to be released. He threatened that if I told anyone, he would kill me. I could read it once, then he took it back. But that was all I needed. It gave me so much."

Shoham described his release day in detail, including the sudden separation from Guy and Evyatar: "That day, we already knew that Omer and I were going to be released. They told us they would come for us on Friday—it was Tuesday. So we thought we had a few more days to say goodbye. After a large meal, unexpectedly, they woke us early. They took us to another room inside the tunnel system we had never been in, because this time they didn’t allow us to see outside. In that room, they served us a large tray of rice and meat—of course, in front of the cameras—and we ate with the senior commander of that team, drank coffee, and returned to our tunnel, thinking we had three more days together. But after about two hours, they said we had to leave immediately. So we had to part in a rush."

"I told them I loved them, not to lose hope, that soon they would be home. But at the same time, there was a feeling—something I had heard in Holocaust stories—of family and friends parting, knowing they might never see each other again. It was very rushed. There wasn’t much time to think, because immediately after they blindfolded us and we ran through the tunnel corridors. Guy and Evyatar stayed behind."

Shoham described the first moments after release, including a hot shower and an emotional reunion with his family.

In closing, he sent a message to his friends still in captivity: "Guy, Evyatar, if you hear me now, don’t lose hope. I know the situation is difficult and seems impossible, and you may be in deep despair from how things have gone until now, but we haven’t forgotten you. We are fighting for you, and I so hope that soon we can meet again and this whole nightmare will be behind you. I hope all the hostages can return home to their loved ones and that we can finally begin to heal this bleeding wound."

And not a word about the 7th october pogrom ?
Hamas and civilian gaza people didn't act as scum bags?

Israel will be there for thousand years. And the wave of anti semitism all arounf the wold will increase the move of judes in Israel, to strengh it again.
They fought and will all their arab neighbors, it's not to give up now against Hamas and gaza islamists.

Several plans for a 2 states solution were on the table. Palestinians always refused. If their solution is to erase Israel there will be no peace, but only one country there : Israel.

I agree.
But all the wars had an end. France and Germany fought against each other in 1870, 1914, 1939. And thanks to clever meople we now are in peace.

Israel and Palestinians have to find a way, as Israel and Egypt found it.

All occupied people have the right to resist occupation

Oct 7th is a direct result of occupation

The middle east hated the Jews, the Jews were not welcome in the middle east, no one asked them to come, no one wanted them

A ethnocentric extremist apartheid state was created without the consent of the Palestinians or the people of the middle east

Their was no two state solution offered to the Palestinians, what was offered was a Israeli controlled state where Israel controlled the air space, had check points, retained settlers etc
It's a insult

The Jews will be hated around the world but nowhere more then the middle east and the Palestinians will continue to exist and as a younger population continue to expand

Israel is a tiny state, it doesn't have the space for millions of more people, it doesn't have the jobs or infrastructure

Israel has fcuked up and it's supporters have fcuked up, and their will be consequences
