Hamas leaning toward accepting Trump's Gaza ceasefire plan quickly, source tells CBS News

The Palestinian Authority, which partially administers areas of the Israeli-occupied West Bank, issued a statement supporting the plan, which was published by the PA-linked WAFA news agency.

In its statement, the PA stressed "the importance of the partnership with the United States in achieving peace in the region," and reaffirmed its commitments to certain reforms, including "holding Presidential and Parliamentary elections within one year after the end of the war."

"We have affirmed that we desire a modern, democratic, non-militarized Palestinian state that is committed to pluralism and the peaceful transfer of power," the statement said.

Mr. Trump's proposal does not include any immediate role for the PA in administering post-war Gaza, but it says the organization could eventually "securely and effectively take back control of Gaza" once it has implemented a series of reforms.

The leaders of a number of Muslim majority nations, including key states in the Middle East, quickly signalled support for the plan. Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar issued a joint statement welcoming Mr. Trump's "sincere efforts to end the war in Gaza" and asserting their "confidence in his ability to find a path to peace."

"They emphasize the importance of the partnership with the United States in securing peace in the region. Along these lines, the ministers welcome the announcement by President Trump regarding his proposal to end the war, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of the Palestinian people and advance a comprehensive peace, as well as his announcement that he will not allow the annexation of the West Bank," the joint statement said.

It’s the end of the road for Hamas

But please do not forget that Khahhahamas are a direct creation of the Israeli state and they have served their interests well. They are there to provide the precise cassus belli that you have elaborated on. The audit trail leads back to Tel Aviv, and groups like Kakkakahamas and I.S.I.S. actually serve their interests best without even realising it.
Tell that some others here who are fanatically defending that Hamas is the hope of the Palestinian people and knights in shining armor who defend Islam from everyone. Some members like khansaheeb,Falcon, hyperman, hussein and others

Breaking | Ismail al-Thawabta, director general of Gaza’s Government Media Office, rejected the U.S. “Trump plan” to stop the war, saying it offers no just or durable solution and instead seeks to impose a new trusteeship that would legitimize Israeli occupation and strip Palestinians of their national, political and human rights.

He said the only way to end the genocide is to stop Israel’s attacks, lift the blockade, end the systematic extermination and guarantee Palestinians’ right to live in freedom and establish an independent state.

Any proposal that treats Gaza as a disarmed, non‑sovereign security zone under international administration, he warned, is categorically unacceptable to the Palestinian national conscience.

Al‑Thawabta added that this stance stems from the lived reality of a people who, after 77 years of occupation and mass killing, will not accept arrangements that deny their rights.

Does you Nazis are committing genocide of the descendants of original Palestine inhabitants. The Slavic and German immigrants are not the descendants people who may have left Palestine. There was no massive outflow of people from Palestine in history.

Mustafa Barghouti, Palestinian politician and co-founder of the Palestinian National Initiative, called Trump’s Gaza plan a “great disappointment” that is riddled with “mines.” He slammed Trump for being openly biased toward Israel, ignoring Palestinians’ right to self-determination, and failing to address the core issue: Israeli occupation.

The “mines”/ dangers:

1. No real Israeli withdrawal: only vague “stages,” with Netanyahu explicitly saying it will be “slow” — Barghouti calls it a recipe for disaster.

2. Israel could restart the war: even after captives are returned, Netanyahu has said he would resume genocide if he wanted. Without guarantees, Israel could manipulate events to justify more attacks.

3. Foreign rule will be imposed: Plan sidelines all Palestinian institutions and brings in Tony Blair, whom Barghouti called a “war criminal” for Iraq. Keeping Israeli troops in Gaza and letting Blair oversee governance is, in his words, “a recipe for continuation of the war rather than ending it.”

He said the plan looks like a unilateral U.S.-Israeli ultimatum, not a serious peace process.

These people do not know plans or agreements or meetings or negotiations or discussions; they continue to fight like lions and brave, heroic champions without mercy, and when the opportunity arose for them.

The survival of resistance fighters from the bombing of an Israeli drone after it spotted them in the fields of battle.

Heroic champions who don't care about the plight of their own people. They fight because they are cornered and have nowhere else to go.
