From what I understand, there are actually a few Japanese people that would like to comment here and other threads.

Unfortunately they feel they would be ganged up on by Chinese hyper-nationalists

No member should fear being ganged up on regardless of ethnicity

Because most Japanese nationals are not English proficient like the Chinese members here, and they don't even watch any English news, but purely Japanese news.

Few who can speak English comes here would soon become depressed as the Chinese members will keep bombarding them with fact checking.

They need to live in an environment where China has been constantly deemed as inferior to them in order to make their life more livable.

Possible but I don’t see that scenario ever coming. China has vast military potential, the Japanese military buildup is driven by fear.

Lol, according to your logic if China has only vast military potential yet not realized, it's perfect time for the sneaky Japs to surprise attack China to destroy it before China can obliterate Japan and it has no chance. That's a very logical conclusion giving Japanese full history of surprise attacks in modern times.

This is a military forum, they cannot fact check China because China already possesses overwhelmingly advantage over Japan.

They would have no counter-argument against China's military/technology superiority, so it would feel like bullying in such debate.

Especially most Japanese always aim to bring down China in their mind, but a discussion forum like this gonna make them feel suffocated in a hopeless debate.

They are not the US, who can use its remaining leverage to counter China's superiority argument into a stalemate.

They know that Japan is 100% hopeless and vulnerable against China, but they just don't want to admit it.

Yep, according to the logic game theory, they gonna pick a sneak attack by most chance.

A formal military race is hopeless for them, nor the economic/technology competition.

Yet they are becoming even more hostile toward China, so a sneak attack is more logical considering their past attitude and behavior.

Well, a military race with China will definitely rend their national debt into insolvency even quicker.

So a sneaky attack on China would be considered more logical to them.

Especially when China is getting closer to deploy its 6th gen aircraft fleet, and the window of opportunity is closing fast for them.

When the US is entangled harder in the Middle East, they will have more motivation to incite the radicals among the Japanese elites.

I think you should be a bit more relax. If we Vietnam just have a fraction of China military capabilities then the Japanese can dance all days nobody cares of.
Technically there is only scenario Japan would launch a preemptive strike or sneak attack: on China or a country in ASEAN: China slips into civil war after a leader dies, the economy in decline, the PLA disintegrates. And even if, the Japanese must require support from the West, Vietnam and other remaining neutral.

Well, China as the originator of the Sinosphere civilization, Japan did copy the Sinosphere civilization, but never learned its true wisdom.

That's why they won't consider any aftermath consequence like China.

Some of their ultranationalists have the scenario of the US vs China in their mind.

They wanna drag the US down if any war scenario happened with China, but the US elites want to treat them as the Ukraine 2.0 in order to weaken China.

So both side have their own ulterior motive to manipulate the other side as its cannon fodder.

In the mind of the Japanese ultranationalists, they don't want to keep acting as the slaves of the US, nor they want to see a rising China becoming its new master.

So they need to drag both US and China into a war.

I actually don't have an issue with Iran having nuclear weapons, and if Japan wants to go nuclear, I have no issue with that either.

I can't speak for my leaders, like some of you hypernationalists think you do.

I can only give my own personal opinion. I'll say it again, I have no issue with Iran having nuclear weapons, or Japan.

It is called the freedom of speech bro, and at least you should have some degree of freedom to speak about the geopolitical realities between your country and Japan.
