Japan Defence and General News Discussions

Japan has been a democracy and firmly pacifist for decades. The appetite for war there simply doesn't exist anymore. China, on the other hand, is an authoritarian regime that tightly controls its narratives and suppresses dissent. That makes mobilizing the population for conflict far easier in China than it ever could be in Japan today.
Which is why the Chinese government minions who operate here no firsthand how to do propaganda so well.

You Yanks have no legitimate right to dictate to others on the forum and in the world on how people want to express their opinions about the world. All US does is going around the world to wage wars on other counties and killing other innocent people all the time. Don't think you people are rightful and superior. US and your ally Japan have long lost that moral high grounds, lol.

They can't even offer a formal apology of massacring 30 million Chinese citizens in their own homeland, and it is really so democratic.

At least the Germans have offered all they can do to the Jewish victims from the WWII.
Japan is a democracy with free elections, opposition parties, courts and a free press. And democracy is a procedure, not a specific policy position, so whether Japan has offered an apology or not doesn't change its regime type.

You can express your opinions just fine. I have no issue with that. My issue was with your blatant propaganda.

I mean I get it, you work for the Chinese government so of course everything is great with them and everyone else is bad in your book

So what democracy in dress, they are trying to fully rearm and walk the path of militarism. Won't be surprised that they will wage war again against China or other East Asian countries somewhere down the line.

Mass killing other nation's citizens and refuse to appology under the name of democracy.

No wonder the entire world is messed up right now with such twisted logic.

He can complain and debate about others' comments, but not others' rights to post comments.
I agree with that. Everyone has an equal opportunity to post here on this forum. No one should get special treatment

Just like their master, starting the aggression by bombing other sovereign nations, then blame the victims.

No one says democracy excuses killing. The killings were under Imperial Japan, which was not a democracy. And Japan having an opposition party with good relations with China is exactly what makes it truly democratic. An opposition that has good relations with China and wants a stronger apology can actually win seats, enter government, and turn its position into official state policy. That ability for a pro-apology, pro-China opposition to govern is the definition of a democracy.

They only change their name from Imperial Japan to the modern Japan.

Their emperor remains the same bloodline, the modern Japanese politicians like Abe Shinzo and Sanae Takaichi were descended from the elites of the Imperial Japan who all had committed war crime to the Chinese people.

The so-called 'pro-China' opposition parties are not actually truly pro-China, but they are just sane factions who don't want to drive Japan into a dead end.

Doesn't matter how many facts you bring, they're stuck in their mindset.
