When dealing with rational people, you would be right. But Pakistan has a lot of people that peddle in conspiracy and when they hate IK with a passion, some would peddle this conspiracy. A denial, basically from the Mossad itself, not only negates this but elevates IK’s reputation; IK having the sense to defeat an Israeli Honeytrap op even before entering politics.

This admission, in contrast to the perspective of his opponents, creates a perception that would be political (and moral) currency for IK and the PTI.

Heck, IK being actively hated by an Israeli agent, earns him much on the Pakistani center and right.
