Why would there be a PAF serial no. on an export aircraft?? Export aircraft could have a factory serial but those are different, not of same format as PAF serials.

The question of picture's authenticity remains though. Is it real or fake?

I mean when did PAF increase order from 30 units to more...if they did? There's definitely a requirement for more but did PAF actually go forward on that?

Good point. It is a PAF specific serial, so the question is if the picture is real or not. 42 x JF17C PL15E carriers + 20 J10CE is a good place to be for the PAF if true.

i remembered jf17 in this pic having serial no , cant see them clearly but same type xx-xxx , surely fcatory serial would have different type .

Especially jumping from 23rd unit to 42nd

Usually we get a media access and indication ceremony where we get the serials
