Joint Defense Agreement: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

Greece should understand that trying to build a relationship with the US is futile. B/c US relations are transactional, and depend on what have you done for me lately
Man,I agree with you on this.

Examples: Navy admirals and former ministers mentioned this year in various occasions,
that there was very big pressure from "certain countries" to buy their frigate and not the French FDI. This has become a very well-known subject in greek online defence news community. Because the Americans kept pressuring us to get the MMSC and a bit later, the LCS.

Another example was their pressure for upgrading the MLRS and not buying the PULS from Israel.

And finally, the apparently tremendous pressure to send the S-300s and some Patriots to Ukraine.

weapons can be bought from anywhere in the world.
South Koreans want to have a part of our defence market and offer us various submarine and surface fleet partial production. Apparently, our gov or Armed Forces are "allergic" to South Korea and Japan when it comes to defence

South Korea is the best, they have a well developed defense base, Western Standard equipment for the most part, and halfway around the world where they are not a factor in whatever regional politics outside of the neighborhood. They deliver on time and with sensible prices, and very little political baggage.

Turkey has been developing a strong relationship with South Korea for years now. One of the best defense relationships Turkey has, they deliver on time usually and good prices, and no strings attached, You don't have to become China's enemy to buy, or against Japan or support Taiwan. Just buy the equipment, no questions asked. Their only issue is North Korea, and its not like Turkey has a relationship with North Korea, so nothing significant affected.

Japan has the equipment but the export laws are such a pain. Can't buy anything without the bureaucracy.
