Historically speaking India is not the type to do alliances, they are part of the nonaligned movement, and already a nuclear power with a significant military, and not reliant on other states, they would be tying themselves to liabilities outside of the subcontinent. Its very unlikely if you ask me.

As for the UAE, its basically going to commit suicide if it puts itself on a crash course with Saudi with this anti Alliance.

Erdagon not messing around. I think before 2027 we may well see more members. If we can genuinely convince countries the defence mechanism will work for everyone you may well see a stampede to join.

It would interesting to see where would Libya stand if not for civil war and division, but Libya is huge just like Egypt, and have massive oil reserves, fighting men and other resources. Hopefully Libyan people/Govt fix their issues and turn things around for their country so they can see prosparity and peace, so they can play positive role in the region.

I think more countries will join once they see some actual ground work is done by these nations, meaning joint projects, and sharing of intelligence and resources, and most importantly join force strategies like NATO does.

At one point a unified military command (like NATO) will have to be organised otherwise in a war situation this thing will become a mess.

Who leads a unified command? Where is it based? Will it have assets dedicated to it like NATO member dedicate certain units for NATO? Will we see joint squadrons (like NATO AWACS) that can pool specialist units for all member (AEW, Heavy transport, AEW etc)?

All of it you mentioned will be a good indicators for others to join, they will see it that this alliance is different, and countries are serious this time. OIC and KSA led Coaliation never manage to do this, but this time it has to be different if they want other nations to join and to create a deterrence.

Exactly, the three fouding members have to show this is not another paper agreement or the military version of the OIC.

Turkiye intervened to save the Libyan government against Haftar who was backed by Isreal, Russia, France, Iran, Assad, UAE, Greece and Egypt. Even the EU had a thing called operation irini? which was meant to stop arms going to the libyan government, while turning a blind eye to weapon shipments to Haftar. There was even an incident where a French frigate was locked onto by Turkish forces when it attempted to threaten Turkish civilian naval assets supporting Libya.

Had Haftar won, he would basically be a slightly more pathetic version of sisi for Libya. Meaning the nation will be told to move in ways that only harms Muslims. The reason haftar was backed by said nations was because he had basically promised them first dibs on Libyas oil and gas assets.

What i think is interesting is that Turkiye after securing the government in the east, started to diplomatically approach haftar to work to unify the country. Turkiye ultimately did the same in Syria with the separatist ypg kurds. Turkiye basically saved the Syrian people, supported them to win the war and ultimately work towards unifying the entire nation.

So i suspect Libya will enter this pact at some point.

India has plenty of security and military agreements with Russia, the United States and Israel.

With Russia, it has the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Military and Military-Technical Cooperation, regular joint military exercises such as INDRA, major defence-production and technology-transfer programmes, and longstanding cooperation in weapons development and procurement.

With the United States, India has signed the four major foundational defence agreements — LEMOA, COMCASA, BECA and the Industrial Security Annex — providing for logistical support, secure military communications, geospatial intelligence and defence-industrial cooperation.

With Israel, India has extensive defence and security cooperation covering weapons systems, missile and air defence, UAVs, counter-terrorism, cybersecurity, technology transfer and joint defence development; in February 2026, the two countries elevated their relationship to a Special Strategic Partnership, explicitly expanding cooperation in defence and security.

The way things are panning out in Western, Central and Southern Asia, they're likely to deepen their existing security and military cooperation with Israel even further.

Yeah Libya and Syria owe a great deal to Turks, and i see no reason why these 2 countries build stronger ties with Turks as they are not only economic power but also military power, and we have seen that Turks will take actions not just words to protect its national interest, Libya has been in chaos and it deserve a bigger role in Islamic world, i hope too see Liyba one day become as powerful and prospoer as it was before the civil war, and hopefully join this Agreement and play a position role. Egypt is strong/powerful and bring a lot to the table but its leadership is very sissy.
