Related, you can look this up. On Four Peaks, which is NE of Mesa, AZ, lays the wreckage of a B-24 that crashed during a WWII training flight. There is still wreckage there today. You can hike up to the site.

Took 10 years to restore the bomber. Must have cost a pretty penny.
