Two policemen, Rahim and Ziaullah, were martyred in a terrorist attack on the Fateh Khel police post in the Mandan police station area of Bannu.
The Khawarij used heavy weapons in the attack.

Security forces neutralise seven terrorists in KP IBOs
RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed seven terrorists during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as reported by the military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), on Sunday.
The ISPR statement detailed that on the night of 8-9 February 2025, security forces launched an operation in the general area of Maddi, Dera Ismail Khan District, following reports of terrorist activity.
“During the operation, our troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, resulting in the death of three terrorists, including Kharji Rehmat, while two others sustained injuries,” the ISPR statement said.
In another operation, security forces targeted a location in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District.
“In the ensuing fire exchange, four terrorists were neutralised by the security forces, and three more were injured,” the statement continued.
