Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Terrorism Watch

Afghanistan has been attacking Pakistan since 1948 either directly or through its proxies.

The biggest mistake Pakistan ever made was not joining properly with NATO to invade Afghanistan. They should have closed the border and not allowed any fleeing Taliban. TTP would never have existed. They could have saved 50 thousand lives, their reputation with the west and over $100 billion.

Pakistan should have been at $1 trillion GDP now if wasn't for these retards.

Afghanistan is on it´s way to 1-Trillion economy and improving much better then Pakistan as for these you crying about we all know who they are.

The Afghan gov´t have washed their hands of them, even condemned their jihad saying it is haram publically to fight Pakistan and warned anyone who goes there.

The problem is that the Pakistani ISI and security performance is poor as of late due to high level of raw and Indian elements infiliteration and honestly if just the Badr forces of the IEA came over to the KPK they would have fixed it within weeks.

There is incomptance within the Pakistani security. Example the situation is the same in India as the Indians have been incapable of tackling several insurgency within India and they keep blaiming it on Pakistan but Pakistan doesn´t help these insurgencies they are just local just like how the elements in Pakistan are local.

Pakistan just need to improve the security and avoid family targetting this makes the circle just keep getting bigger and bigger

I feel sorry for you if you take people's words at face value without analysing if there is even an ounce of truth to it based on historical precedence and context. With this logic Israel, India are all peaceful and will never harm you. Also DM me because i have a flying magical carpet to sell you on offer.

In fact I can't even tell if you are serious about Afghanistan's economy hitting 1 trillion, but for your sake I hope you're joking otherwise visit a psychologist ASAP.

WHETHER terrorist groups have external help or are operating with local support, far too many security personnel and civilians have lost their lives in heinous attacks that show no sign of abating.

The latest atrocity occurred on Saturday, when 13 soldiers were martyred in a suicide attack in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali area. The unfortunate fact is that the former Fata districts, as well as the rest of KP, along with Balochistan, form Pakistan’s soft underbelly, where terrorist groups — religiously inspired ones and separatists, respectively — seem to operate with impunity.

According to data compiled by the PICSS think tank for May, there were 85 militant attacks in that month, resulting in at least 113 fatalities, mostly of security men and civilians. These are alarmingly high numbers for peacetime. It indicates that Pakistan’s counterterrorism policy needs to be retooled so that lives are saved and terrorist groups neutralised.

The military has said that the Mir Ali attack was planned by “the terrorist state of India” and carried out by “Fitna al-Khawarij”, the term it uses for the banned TTP. Meanwhile, Asood al-Harb, a little-known outfit linked to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, has claimed responsibility for the deadly ambush.

When it comes to names and nomenclature, it should be kept in mind that terrorist groups keep changing monikers. What remains unchanged, though, is their nefarious intent to wage war against the state. The shadowy networks of militancy must be uprooted, while their supporters — both local and foreign — must be exposed.

If India is involved, it should be firmly told through diplomatic channels to cease such destabilising activities. Evidence of its support for terrorism must be brought before the international community, including the UN.

Similarly, the Taliban regime in Afghanistan must be warned that improvement in relations and support for the TTP cannot go hand in hand. The Taliban administration has said that Pakistan’s claims of India misusing Afghan territory to destabilise this country are “baseless”.

However, it should be remembered that a recent significant UN report on militancy released in February very clearly stated that the Afghan Taliban continue their support for the TTP.

It is true that, since then, there has been an improvement in Pak-Afghan relations, thanks to Chinese mediation, and both countries have upgraded diplomatic ties. Yet if terrorist attacks continue in the border areas, Pakistan will have reason to ask questions, unless Kabul takes firm action against all militant groups that threaten this country from Afghan soil.

While raising the issue of militancy with our neighbours is important, reinforcing our own CT programme is crucial. The writ of the state must be established in all areas so that terrorists no longer threaten civilians or target troops.

You keep sending back people that are wanted by the Taliban right into their hands. Some of these you send back has actully been executed for treason or serving against the nation.

But Afghanistan is improving economically and even giving water to Pakistan currently.

As for KPK Pakistan needs to allow Badr forces security forces to enter the KPK or do joined sweep with them and you will see how quickly they will clean the elements in KPK and imho it comes down to Pakistani incapability and then they resort to like India blaming someone else and in this case Pakistan blames Afghanistan.

Kabul is like what more can I do for you? I condemned them public and washed my hands off them. IEA will have to be forced to send a battalion to help the KPK security and do a sweep with them. I fear incomptence within the Pakistani ranks and this is unfortunate for me to admit as Pakistani.

They are just very few elements in Kpk They are less then 100 men militia cell. I think the Pakistani paratroopers are lazy and don´t wanna do mountain climbing but they just wanna drive around

There was an attack in DI Khan today, 3 soldiers embraced shahadat.

Two traffic policemen were martyred as unidentified gunmen opened fire on them in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district on Tuesday, according to police.

“The traffic cops were on their way to Tajazai Adda for duty on motorcycles when they were fired at on Longkhel Road near Gulbaz Dehqan village,” read a statement by Lakki Marwat police spokesperson Shahid Hameed.

“The martyrs include Israel and Sanaullah, both of whom hailed from the Longkhel [area],” it added.

The police cordoned off the area and initiated an investigation.

Lakki Marwat District Police Officer (DPO) Mohammad Jawad Ishaq specified that the four attackers were riding on two motorcycles and stole the policemen’s submachine guns.

DPO Ishaq further said, “The traffic personnel were dressed in civilian clothes when they were targeted.”

Lakki Marwat has seen a rise in attacks in recent months that reflect an increasing militant presence in the area, although unrest dates back to the early 2000s. Militant activity has resurged in recent years, straining local peace efforts and heightening fears of renewed instability.

Last week, the leader of the Shahab Khel peace committee and two of his companions were shot dead by terrorists in Lakki Marwat.

In June, police said they destroyed several hideouts of terrorists in the forest located along the Kurram and Gambila Rivers in the district during a search and strike operation.

Earlier that month, three terrorists were killed while a cop was martyred in the district’s Kot Kashmir area during a gun battle with the police and local peace committee.

Meanwhile, two suspected terrorists were shot dead after an exchange of fire with police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel in KP’s Bannu district, a police officer said on Tuesday.

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A 47-year-old woman was killed on Sunday night when a mortar shell struck a house in Kot Langarkhel village in the Ladha tehsil of Upper South Waziristan, triggering widespread grief and a protest by the Mehsud tribe.

The incident purportedly occurred during a late-night exchange of fire between militants and security forces, after an alleged attack on a security checkpoint.

The district administration confirmed that the woman was critically injured when a mortar shell landed on her residence during the crossfire.

She was shifted to the Civil Hospital in Ladha, where she succumbed to her injuries.

According to sources, mortar shells fired by both militants and security forces landed in three different villages, including Ghowak, Kot Langarkhel and Sultana, with the incident in Kot Langarkhel proving to be fatal.

Meanwhile, the district administration expressed condolence to the bereaved family and assured that financial assistance would be provided to them.
