How about we also hold the politicians that enable the TTP to account? Achakzai, whom the PTI has blessed with leading the Opposition, here in his own words:

you know, theres a whacky concept called holding everyone to account. the reason why the army LEADERSHIP catches the flak is because of the copium and bravado that comes from the leaders and gets disseminated by their puppets on social media. Dont forget the ISPR presser the other day, i summarised it well: "he came onlune to say its india doing this and we will kick afghans out and dont worry everything is ok bye"

They don't have strong holds, they are bands of Afghan scum bags

The border is porus, we can't police every inch of it, so we will get bands of afghans come through and they will cause chaos until they are killed or they run back to Afghanistan

It's the same problem in both KP and Balochistan, we can't simply keep wasting resources on these areas and borders when locals are COMPLICIT

That's gives us a reactive policy of trying to respond to a TTP or BLA presence

When we should be actively trying to destroy as much targets and infrastructure in Afghanistan as a direct response to any attack against Pakistan

Give the Afghans a real cost to their terrorism, losing TTP scum bags isn't a cost

Please read my post again. I said 'former' strongholds. Who can deny Swat was a stronghold?

If the same policy of reactive gunfire goes on, TTP will again have strongholds in settled areas.

CIA and Al-Qaeda double agent Ex-Senator Asaf Fasihuddin Vardag and his nephew Umer Wardag are the handlers behind the Al-Qaeda in Pakistan. Asaf Vardag and Squadren Leader Khalid Khwaja were responsible for the meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Osama Bin Laden when Bin Ladin financed IJI against PPP back in the nineties. His brother Col Wasif Vardag's security company provided guard duty at the hideout house of Khalid Shaikh Mohammad in Westridge from where he was caught.

"Pakistan has now adopted a strict and decisive policy: the Kharijites, wherever they may be, will be eliminated. The example of airstrikes in their strongholds is evident to all. Another good thing is that now people themselves inform the security forces about them, because people understand that their presence among us is causing us both loss of life and financial damage."

seems like Pakistan army been really brutal towards Molana and blocking the inflow of his boyfriends from Afghanistan and killing of so many during the military operations has made him lose his mind.

jokes aside. he follows the mindset of mocking the military and praising / excusing for Taliban.

Security forces kill 24 terrorists in KP's Bannu, adjoining areas: ISPR

News Desk
July 17, 2026

Security forces have killed 24 terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district and its adjoining areas in the last 24 hours, the military’s media affairs wing said in a statement on Friday afternoon.

The statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that recently, there had been a “surge” in terrorist activities against police and suicide bombings in Bannu.

In these incidents, the statement said, “Indian proxy Fitna-al-Khawarij targeted law enforcement agencies and innocent civilians”.

Fitna-al-Khawarij is the term that the state uses for the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban.

“Security forces have initiated extensive joint intelligence-based operations to hunt the perpetrators of these heinous attacks and their support infrastructure.

“Accordingly, in the last 24 hours, following fierce fire exchanges in Bannu district and adjoining areas, 24 khawarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna-al-khawarij have been sent to hell,” the statement said.

It added that weapons and ammunition were found in the possession of the slain terrorists, “who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities and the killing of innocent civilians”.

CTD-police operation

Meanwhile, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and local police personnel killed five terrorists during a jointly conducted operation in Bannu, a statement by the CTD said on Friday. The statement described the slain terrorists as Fitna-al-Khawarij.

It detailed the previous night’s action, saying that a “targeted intelligence-based operation” was carried on the basis of “credible information about the presence of terrorists” in the Gulbahar area of Bannu, within the limits of Hawed Police Station.

The operation was carried out through “coordinated planning” to limit the movement of the terrorists in an effective manner, the statement said.

“During the operation, the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on CTD’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and local police personnel,” it said, adding that the law enforcers retaliated in self-defence.

The exchange of fire continued for around 40 minutes, following which a search and clearance operation was launched, during which five terrorists were killed and several others were arrested, the statement said.

Subsequently, a large contingent of police reached the site and cordoned off the area, it said, adding that the search and clearance operation was under way to track down and arrest the terrorist who had fled.

This is the most frustrating

I am normally forgiving of the military and security, simply because they have an incredible difficult job to do in a tough environment dealing with a bunch of jahils and donkeys

But where the hell is our fast response, on the eastern border we seem to have it, India is monitored, we respond to Indian movements etc

But on the western border, a police station can be in a 3 fcuking hour shoot out with terrorists and their is
No back up?
No drones?
No helicopter support?

Literally what the fcuk is this

Create fast response units, set up helicopter units, buy some additional chinese or Turkish helicopters, or give the old cobras to provide support

Set up some drone units

As soon as police or security, radio that they are under attack

Get the drones and helicopters in the air

One Ariel attack from a drone could end a attack

At a minimum we could kill multiple hostiles

This is simply UNFORGIVABLE, and I don't know why it hasn't been resolved

Five terrorists killed in KP operations

Dawn Report
July 19, 2026

BANNU / WANA: Five terrorists were killed by security forces and law enforcement agencies in separate operations in Bannu, Lower South Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Three terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Bakakhel area of Bannu district.

According to security sources, the operation was launched after credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area.

The security forces raided their hideout, triggering an exchange of fire in which three terrorists were killed.

Officials said targeted operations against terrorist networks were continuing across Bannu.

Security forces, in coordination with Bannu police, expanded operations in Bakakhel, Janikhel, Miryan, Sarra Dargah and the Wazir sub-division to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and prevent planned attacks.

The intensified campaign followed the attempted vehicle-borne bombing of Miryan police station on July 15.

Meanwhile, Bannu police confirmed that 28 suspects were taken into custody during a search operation in the Norar and Mambati Barakzai areas of Miryan tehsil.

Wana terrorist plot foiled

A major terrorist plot was foiled in Lower South Waziristan’s Wana after an explosives-laden vehicle intended for use in a suicide attack was destroyed, killing one terrorist.

According to security sources, the operation in the Ghwakhwa area of Wana prevented a potential catastrophe after forces destroyed an explosives-laden vehicle and a motorcycle intended for use in a suicide attack.

The security sources said one terrorist was killed and five others were injured during the operation.

They added that the forces had kept the suicide vehicle under surveillance for three consecutive days and engaged it only after it had moved away from populated areas, minimising the risk of civilian casualties.

“The successful action averted significant civilian casualties and ensured the safety of the local population,” they said.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the security forces for foiling the “major terrorist” attempt in Wana.
